I'm perfectly allowed to disrespect a player for cheating, thank you very much. I'm not aware of this controversy, explain? http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/tsl-2/107745-dqs-dimaga-reason-sarens-vasilisk Putting other players like Haypro or Kawaiirice in perspective I think it's a little petty to post something like this here. I don't disagree that you're more than allowed to harbor ill will towards cheating though. Do you think I respect Haypro? Do you think I respect KawaiiRice? Do you think I respect TT1? No I don't actually and it's pretty clear you will never see them as anything but scum. I guess what I was trying to imply is that these guys have had clean careers for themselves in a new game for 4-5 years now. More than that SC2 fans know them as nice people. My impression is that they're no longer cheaters; their actions reflect that. But clearly you can never forgive. And that's fine. I don't think you respect anyone I just think it's petty to go out of your way to post in someone's retirement thread 6 years later. Well, it's about the most egregious thing you can do as a progamer, and very few prominent players have been caught. When almost everybody is clean, something like this is going to become a big part of your legacy. Believe me, I don't go out of my way to criticize players, I'm mostly in LR threads cheering somebody on or trying to draw attention to underappreciated players. I still don't get the "petty" part. This isn't Dimaga's blog, it's a news post (though Dimaga did leave a post in the thread).
i really didn't like this user...
not because pigbearwhateverguy thinks cheating is a literal eternal and unforgiveable sin (there's a lot of dose guise on tl)
but because he went completely out of his way to go into a SC2 thread about a SC2 player retiring from SC2 filled with SC2 fans who are wishing well to bring up cheating that had taken place in BW 5 years ago and directly imply that they deserve nothing but scorn... when it was very clear, judging by literally what everyone else who has posted in the thread had to say about DIMAGA, that they remember and think of him as that Zerg with the big smile and his skill and personality; essentially DIMAGA's character.
and if that's not bad enough he tries to build himself up as some thoughtful, reasonable person who supports the up and coming little guys :^)
"Believe me, I don't go out of my way to criticize players, I'm mostly in LR threads cheering somebody on or trying to draw attention to underappreciated players." But when I do criticize I make it a point to try and make up for all that positivity :^) by being a massive dick.

glad he got banned, although for other reasons...
just imagine if someone tried to pull that shit IRL at a social gathering or a discussion:
"man I'm gonna miss DIMAGA the buisnessman, I hope he enjoys where he's moving to!" "man me too! I like that guy remember that time when X?" "FUCK DIMAGA WHEN HE WAS IN HIGH SCHOOL...!!!" "??? what fuck off dude lol that was 5 years ago."

He was an obs in one of lastshadow's wcg games and apparently whispered information to ls during the game
But this was way vback in 2008 for BW...

2008. meaning he was 14 years old.

It doesn't really matter when even in cheating foreigners pale in comparison to koreans.

@gamegene being considered a lesser player by the righteous for the rest of your life is half the punishment for cheating...
going to hell when you die is the other half.

You should work in the public sector sometime, when I was working at the governor's office of Minnesota I had a nearly daily call with several different schizophrenic individuals XD

Well basically Hitler put his natural in Austria, then 2 base all-inned Poland while his teammate went in from the other ramp. He already had the immortal sentry combo needed for all-ins and it was still pretty early in the game, so he decided to all-in France. But France was walled off, so Hitler broke the destructible rocks in Belgium and went in through the backdoor. France fell pretty quickly to the soul train, but luckily their ally had a base left and quickly boosted his medivacs to save France's army. Germany thought France was pretty much done, so he let a few turrets and production facilities stay up as long as France changed its ally settings, but what Germany didn't know is that France never unallied the UK.
So Germany did a bit of phoenix harass over Britain, but got repelled by the British Vikings, and decided to macro up and attack the Soviet Union, and remove slav. However they didn't have any observers in their army so they were unable to remove the slav tumors, meaning the Soviets, their army decimated, just turned all their drones into spine crawlers and planted them next to wherever the German deathball was. One spine crawler and his friends held off the deathball for two months.
Meanwhile Japan muta harassed the US victory fleet, so the US responded by spamming carriers.
Germany did pretty well, but had too many fronts, not enough resources, and the choo choo was too powerless this late in the game. Britain and the US did a joint doomdrop on France and a-moved their way to Berlin. At some point, Germany hid a proxy pylon behind their lines but the army that spawned there was quickly dispatched. Meanwhile, the Soviet Union moved all their spine crawlers up, and thanks to glorious creep spread, started attacking Berlin with spine crawlers. Hitler ragequit, followed by many of his senior staff.
Japan was also struggling against US victory fleet and their tendency to put proxy pylons on all their captured islands, so by advice from occupied Korea, they switched to BW units. However their scourge, while putting a dent in US carriers, was not enough to stop the victory fleet. The US, also switching to BW, did two reaver drops (because nuke comparison would've been too easy, and also, real men play Protoss), and got Japan to GG out.

Meanwhile Finland held off a Soviet roach all-in with just marines. They only got German marauder reinforcements after Soviet defense had stopped the German deathball at the ramp of Soviet main base.
