DidYuhim was just temp banned for 2 days by Nyovne.
That account was created on 2011-09-18 22:23:53 and had 1901 posts.
Reason: I'm going to save this community the bother of having to read more of your posts on SC2 and balance for the duration of this event. Thank god, S2 finals LR became a bit better.

Agreed.

With the sole exception of the finals, that is very much what I am implying.
I mean I give NesTea a lot of flak but at least his wins were always convincing. Jjakji barely scraped through to reach the finals and delivered a lot of mediocre/uninspired games. Except it's bullshit. His game v Killer in the Ro32? Awesome, even if he ended up losing, relentless. His game v Supernova in the same group is still one of the most amazing TvTs ever. Sure he lucked out in the Ro16 and only had to beat Gumi, and both his games v Mvp and Gumi were pretty scrappy and bad. But there's no way you can say his games v Oz weren't interesting at least, and even if he stomped Puzzle it was not because of Puzzle being bad, but jjakji being good. I disagree. Puzzle played like shit (like in every other Ro8 appearance he had) and the games vs Oz were some of the worst PvT I've ever watched. On paper Oz should've won that 3-0, but he made lots of mistakes and ended up losing. And I guarantee that if CoCa had took part in Code S Jjakji would have never made it to Playoffs. Jjakji-Leenock still delivered the best finals in terms of games. He did get good draws and lucky consequences. Then again, so did Sniper. Seed actually beat very good opponents and various races, etc. At least Jjakji is more relevant than Sniper now. Sniper got good draws? You think MarineKing, sHy, Seed himself, then Bogus, Polt and PartinG are good draws? Leenock, the infinitely underrated Ryung and then Hyun? This is what you call a good draw? On top of all that he was completely destroying team leagues both online and offline (GSTL) during 2012. So no, I really don't see your point here, sorry. :/ Patch 1.5.3 was the best draw you could get for a Zerg player. I guess Life's win doesn't count either then. If you don't understand the difference between abusing the shit out of BL/Infestor and killing everyone with Zergling run-bys then you should check a doctor. Yes, how dare I suggest that the player who beat some the actual best players in the world at his time all the while getting 3/4/5 kills in GSTL per match is actually good. No amount of whine would change that. If it was Symbol or ByuL or LosirA that actually won, you may have a point. I don't have anything about your arguments. But you should check a doctor.
Quite the smart fellow, wasn't he.

Since this popped up in a stream chat some minutes ago it might be connected. With ~10 warnings and 4 bans he shouldn´t expect too much lenience

they are given leeway due to their contributions. the rest of us have our reputations or post quality to rely on, both of which you might want to work on before criticizing him as well. you are aware that this is pretty much the same thing from the 10 commandments right respecting "veterans" and blindly believing everything they say are not the same thing. this dude is saying that the other dude needs to build up his "reputation" and "post quality" before criticizing someone--thats a joke. plus, roffles got banned for what he was saying so so much for that. Roffles got banned because what matters is not whether you're right or not, but whether you get baited or not... my point has very little to do with roffles. he just happened to be the veteran navi referred to in his post. In most cases I agree with this principle (and in this one as well) but it's still kinda dumb imho that Roffles would get banned as well. And yes, the political realities of Germany have become abundantly clear, in that they only promise more of the same. Still it's fun to talk about this stuff and one can always dream, right? Indeed, and that last sentence was rather German of you. I rather adore Nietzsche's definition of the German soul: The German soul has passages and galleries in it, there are caves, hiding-places, and dungeons therein, its disorder has much of the charm of the mysterious, the German is well acquainted with the bypaths to chaos. And as everything loves its symbol, so the German loves the clouds and all that is obscure, evolving, crepuscular, damp, and shrouded, it seems to him that everything uncertain, undeveloped, self-displacing, and growing is "deep". The German himself does not EXIST, he is BECOMING, he is "developing himself". "Development" is therefore the essentially German discovery and hit in the great domain of philosophical formulas,—a ruling idea, which, together with German beer and German music, is labouring to Germanise all Europe. Foreigners are astonished and attracted by the riddles which the conflicting nature at the basis of the German soul propounds to them (riddles which Hegel systematised and Richard Wagner has in the end set to music). It is equally clear that whatever remained of that introspective German, more preoccupied with the paradoxes of his personal existence than with the infantising world of high politics after 1945, and which still survived the imbroglios of the sixties, will be destroyed by Europe and everything it represents. Germans are still that depth and richness when one can persuade them to speak of life beneath the upper world. Engaging a German student in conversation about literature or poetry or the religious mysteries is a vast, sublime delight. When speaking to Germans, one ought to avoid any missteps which might lead his tongue unto the high road of politics. Should he escape there, your dream will soon be shattered with the realisation that the deep and powerful thinker sitting before you is after all, a real idiot. On August 24 2013 10:14 MoltkeWarding wrote:The political partys just promise the same, becouse the majority of the people actually like that, That awkwardness of the electorate fits hand in glove with the neutered aspects of their political personality. Germans may be opinionated as they will, but are in the ordinary mortified at saying something stupid in public. In short, Germans are cautious speakers. So too in politics, the most respectable individuals defer their judgements to the opinions of specialists and experts. The German press is risk-averse and substitutes opinions with information. Germans feel most secure opening their mouths in fora where the majority of people are known as a fact to be less informed than they are (i.e. tl.net,) usually in the capacity of a benevolent pedagogue, "setting the facts straight," and so forth. Beyond that, you will occasionally have 18 year-olds and college students mimicking some fairly ordinary ideals, the type of thing to be found at Miss America pageants: "I wish for world peace," and so forth. In all, the peaceful co-habitation between the vigorous inner ideal, and the bland outer conformity is a trait about Germany which is something of a national eccentricity. Frederick the Great's adage that "My people and I have come to an accord which satisfies us both. They are to say as they please, and I am to do as I please." can be applied to the modern generation of governance as well. After thinking about reporting him or not for what feels like 20 minutes I decided not to, he put too much work in those posts and even though they are generalising everywhere and often kinda insulting I couldn't bring myself to report him. Not that what he wrote was right in any way but... I think sometimes you have to respect the effort when people raise shitposting to a form of art. Shitposting? Has Moltke even gotten a mod action in his 10 years of being on this site? Because I just did a quick search which seems to suggest he has not. So much for that. :D
Doesn't mean he can't start now does it? Not everybody here can have a MoP-like banhistory you know? :/ Try reading the only reply he got at all in the thread if you don't understand it http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=410943¤tpage=10#187

They all do. Until they're permed. And some persevere after that still...

Hmm, Yhim's one of those posters I'm not sure about; he posts funny stuff sometimes in LR's but with too much snark/assholery that I could probably do without him.

Gotta say in my limited experience with TL articles (stopped reading them because of this very fact actually), they happen to be almost as inaccurate as Artosis when it comes to making predictions.
Poor guy took a chance and got unlucky. RIP. ;;

Yeah don't get me wrong if you say something like that you should definitely be held accountable / be a man etc.
I just think he got really unlucky, because the chances were very much in his favor when he gambled, not just because of TL articles' prediction history, but also because of how insanely strong Bogus was until his losses to Maru and Parting.
