jd everywhere! Would explain the paranoia if you put it that way. One man, having hundreds of different discussions with himself. Jd may represent a significant portion of the 4%.
I am just thinking about his 2000+ account claim, each associated to an email address login...and all the spam that he must get...lol.

So how exactly do I go about verifying whether I'm jd or not?

If you look in a mirror and see no reflection then you are jd.

There are services where you can buy thousands of emails on the cheap if you don't care about the email domain. He must have picked up big block for TL exclusively.

I thought the correct litmus test was to disagree with KwarK in a politically charged general forum thread. (Please don't try this at home.)

But education is completely irrelevant. You dont learn to understand economics by being able to do math equations, and you dont proof anything by empirical results. If that isn't stupidity worthy of a ban, I don't know what is. The phrasing on the last part was bad, but his overall thought wasn't wrong, which was elaborated on later posts. His tone was also civil. A week is extremely harsh. Clearly the ban was too harsh. But if you haven't learned this yet, tree hugger has a propensity to ban people who express opinions he doesn't agree with, particularly those of a "limited government" variety. The moment Hider made a link to Mises, he had a death sentence over his account. Of course, TH has the sense to wait for the poster to make some small error, to mispeak or say something unpopular or something that can be taken out of context, before banning them. Usually no one has the balls to point these types of things out, but when they do, the go-to argument in these types of cases is to always assume that the posters history is shit and justifies anything a mod ever does, without actually looking up their history and judging for yourself. It's the classic "god works in mysterious ways" type of justification. The reality is that certain people get tired of hearing certain arguments in certain threads, and feel it would be better for everyone if the arguments just went away. This is where all the sheeple point me to the ten commandments and the fact that the mods never believed in free expression or the tolerance of diverse opinions in the first place. And people call this a "mature" community lawl. User was temp banned for this post. I think that may have been the post that he thinks caused one moderator, or the collective group of moderators depending on which he believes at the time, to start a vendetta against him. He was criticising a ban by TH who had a total of zero interactions with JD following that post so no real evidence of that grudge. Coincidentally though, TH did ban him for this post a few months before. http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=285642¤tpage=10#189Unfortunately the chronology of it appears to be that TH gives JD a ban that any one of us could have given him because he clearly deserved and then JD starts calling TH out. I'll have to double check my numbers but I think, with the way that time goes forwards, what that means is that the one who is holding the grudge here is JD. Not only are there no more actions by tree hugger against him ever but there is only one ban from that January one until this one, a 2 day ban by Nyovne, a completely routine one for backseat moderating with the minimum ban length possible, despite the whole tinfoil hat "tl bias leave open liberal trash topic" shit. http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=379067¤tpage=6#106Despite this he continually insisted that he was being repressed although the specifics of it changed with each instance of whining. The first few times I legitimately tried to work out what he was talking about although I can see his mod history and see that nobody was banning him. Recently I've just called him out on his delusions every time I've seen them in the hope that eventually he'll stop. I'm disgusted but not shocked that he was banned for being right and calling out biased moderation. This whole discussion basically sums up why I spend 99% of the time lurking here. Whether he is paranoid or crazy or what have you, I tend to agree with his main point that keeps getting tossed around: certain people get banned for things others don't and some moderators spend more time breaking the rules than they do enforcing them. You seem to have failed to read the words. He was not banned for being right, he was banned for being wrong. He was banned for continually insisting that mods were persecuting him when nobody was doing anything to him. It got old.

Reason: Yeah, it's not weird or anything to create and maintain a legion of sock puppet accounts to use when your main account gets banned, jdseemoreglass. Not. weird. at. all.
Cry havoc, and let slip the dogs of war.
The hunt is on.

We could make it into a special TL event and give an icon to whoever finds the most jd accounts.

The sixth is probably my favorite commandment, provided the vet in question isn't being outlandish or chiding newer users about seniority.

Either that, or the mods are spoofing the situation to provide evidence he was completely insane. Cows eat grass, and grass is peripherally related to trees, so he could be a tree.hugger alt account for plausible deniability, and now that they've been exposed they're working double time to discredit the guy who caught on to it all before there's any trouble.

He's not creating them "now." They were already made. He even told he's got 2,000 accounts, remember?
I'm sure each preconceived handle is more witty and hilarious than the next.
EDIT:
Oh my Lord. This plot is thickening like a really tasty milkshake. :-O

Funny thing is, I can register accounts faster than they can ban them lmao. I'm such a weirdo!!!
