More than the backlash, he's had so many mod actions that it's just pointless unless they're going to actually go through with a perm ban. I doubt 'Idra being Idra' is enough for that...I don't know what would be besides cheating.

Considering the number of people who get away with talking shit on TL, the fact they aren't moderating a veteran member for mocking a questionable team shouldn't be a surprise, nor does it really require justification.

The balance to that is if you ban idra, you show people that posting like that is not ok no matter who you are, and get an excuse to wipe out a huge chunk of bad posters all at once due to their inevitable over reaction to idra getting banned.

That Idra isn't banned for that doesn't really have much to do with their moderation towards him, I'd imagine that the mods partly agree with him and let it slide, especially because of the way that the dude responded to him
