You're probably right but I wanted to check and see if there was something insidious about it. I don't think those two threads had anything to do with each other. The closed/temp'd thread wasn't about whether eating dog or cat meat was okay. It was just highlighting some methods of slaughtering animals were gruesome.
There was an ancient thing on reddits front page about the poultry industry in the US. Maybe they're related. We'll have a week of is it okay to A) B) C) discussions.

hehe that edit, there used to be a photo album of tl members from back in the day before there were so many. I think we played on east as well in NH, x17, or even maybe back in the days of vanilla or some other place.
