Noob. Check the upper-left portion of the site, where your user control panel is. There should be an option to open a blog in there.

I have no idea, I always stop at the point where I'm supposed to choose a blog link. But if we made threads in website feedback they can't even close those with the joke moderation rules they are sporting.
