But now this has just become a thread where everyone is just posting whatever random things they want. It's gotten to the point where we can't talk about bans in here because it's immediately overshadowed by complete random-ness. Let's all try a little harder to stay on topic so this thread stays the coolest on TL, yes?

My particular post that you just quoted was in reference to the IRC chat, and was not a "random thought" by any means, but purely a silly, careless defense of the fun we have in the IRC chat.
Aside from this, I don't see when i've really posted a lot of hamsters/whatever just for the sake of it, or as part of a "random thought". I take particular care to not turn the thread into a pic dump, by only being frivolous in terms of hamsters when i'm PM'ing someone who I know can take the joke, and who doesn't mind.

How about the large dump of old bans that I dug up a day or two ago?)

It's probably partly down to the massive ban drought going on at the moment. Things should get back to normal soon with MLG, GSL finals and mixed PL. Bring on the bans.

Marttorn sorry, I didn't mean to single you out. There are a lot of people responsible for this, myself included.
We've gone through almost 100 pages in 20 days, that's 2000 posts or almost 100 posts a day. That's crazy. There have been literally entire pages filled with puns and posts that consist of nothing but pictures. And sometimes the quote chains are longer than an entire page of the thread, and only have one ban in them. Someone explained it better a few dozen paged (like a few days) ago:

I was about to post about this ban. I liked it, very... classy? As in, ETT explained exactly what he was doing wrong, in a very... interesting manner. I don't know. Like, it was firm and slightly putting down (as any good ban should be), but not to the point where it just makes the person want to jump off a bridge.
