Well, for starters, this is a community site. They don't literally own it, and they are called staff for a reason.
The entire point of what they do is trying to make the site a better place.

To be fair, a lot of them are PBU's, but still.

I causally hope that there will be a day that, when I click on the Closed Thread, the Automated Ban List thread is nowhere to be seen on the first page. Constant stream of lol-worthy materials is definitely good enough payoff to rid this world of unfunny trolls.

The picture of the other dessert I had in the 404'd, so I had to find a new one and picked the delicious cheesecake, but it's been there for a while. Since last year anyway, look at the date of late edit.

That account was created on 2010-06-28 21:31:53 and had 24 posts.
Reason: You have it in you to fit in here but as long as you keep making offensive posts and dodging temp bans by multi-accounting you are on a slippery slope to disneyland.

i thought the ban of e.soul was impressively harsh.. didn't really think it was justified. there are so many worse posts, i've reported some and they just go ignored not even banned, then he is permabanned for posting a dumb joke.
i mean jesus, ban the mean spirited assholes first please, not the nice guys
maybe he was warned or something before but permaban just seems so harsh
im not gonna make a big deal of it or anything cuz his posting really wasn't very good.. but please.. be skewed towards banning the assholes/trolls

He was an exceptionally bad poster. He had been temp banned twice before. And if anything his posting got worse. I see nothing wrong with purging terrible posters, not just assholes.

I just facepalmed after realizing you could do that. I'd been literally going through dozens of recent posts trying to find that *special one* while reading through the automated ban list.
