Welcome everyone, to Season 5 of the TL Community Member Awesomeness Tournament!

NOTE: This season of TLCMAT will pay a special tribute to John "TotalBiscuit" Bain. More info on this will be revealed later.

Rules:
This is a popularity contest, so the community will be voting. All voting will be done through TL Polls, because TL is #1 and everyone freaking knows it.

NOTE: As the supervisor of this tournament, if I make a decision on something, then my word is final. Sorry, but no one ever said that life was fair :/

Nomination Rules:
All participants must be nominated into the tournament. Let's get some awesome nominations going for the people who do something for the esports community and deserve to be recognized!

This thread will serve as the Nomination Thread. Nominations will end exactly 1 week later. The first 64 to get nominated into the tournament are in. If we don't get to 64, then we will have a reduced number of participants for the first round.

As this is a community event, we will be excluding pro gamers, casters, and famous esports personalities from GOM/SPOTV/IEM/DH/Blizzard, etc. etc.

As a form of seeding, some community members need less nominations in order to join the main tournament:

Reds - 2 Nominations
All other TL Staff/Forum Stars - 3 Nominations
Trial Staff/Non-Staff Contributors (People who do LR threads a lot, or translate, or do Live Reports, manage fan clubs, etc.) - 4 Nominations
Forum Users (basically everyone else) - 5 Nominations

Each user can only nominate a maximum of 10 people. More nominations will be given as we get closer to the deadline.

How Do I Nominate?
Please follow this format!!!

Reason: (Why should people care about this individual?)
Examples of Works: (Examples do not have to be specifically TL threads)
Extra Supporting Details: (Anything else that you feel will strengthen the individual's chances of getting in)

If you see that a user that you like has been already nominated, please post ##Second: (insert name here). You do not need to provide the necessary information if someone already posted it before you. But if that person left something out, then by all means, feel free to add in some details yourself!

##Seconds:
Everyone gets a maximum of 10 ##Seconds to use. You CANNOT vote for the same person more than once!
You do NOT need to provide a reason when you ##Second someone. More seconds will be given as we get closer to the deadline.

Format:
The tournament will follow GSL format but there will be three group stages instead of two. The Ro8 and onward will be knockout rounds.

Ro64 – GSL Style Groups
Ro32 – GSL Style Groups
Ro16 – GSL Style Groups
Ro8 – Single Elimination
Ro4 – Single Elimination
Finals / Third Place Match – Single Elimination

*Group Selections:
Just like GSL, I will make a Group Selections thread for the Ro16. The thread will show the order of how people are supposed to select a person of their choice. All other rounds will be done through randomization.

Prize Pool:
We need a GoFundMe or a Patreon, or something like that first... Even then, I can't promise that I'll just pocket all the money for myself.
