A private forum just for TL+ Users? I don't post much but i do lurk ALOT and keeping knowledge to a select paying crowd doesnt bode well with me. Best part of TL was finding awesome opinions and subjects to read.

I seriously considered buying a subscription for myself or a notable poster. In the end, I decided against it; no hard feelings, but my money would ultimately be supporting coverage and features for SC2 and DotA 2 while TL continues to mostly dismiss LoL, and I'd rather not support that.

Now that thread OPs can receive TL+ from readers, this system would encourage good articles/guides.
I used to write those just for "Thank you" or "Nice work" from readers, but future OPs can expect TL+ gift from readers when the quality of the thread is high enough. That's nice.

It's about the same as paying for a friends meal, giving away a ticket to an event, or giving them a gift. It's just something that people do.

true dat. i gifted two longtime friends, one romanian guy who wanted to help out but couldnt and then just two random people because i wanted to give $50 total to tl. turns out i knew both of the guys already. i wanted the money to go to tl.net and didn't care who it came through.

if you want to guilty trip me, i spent $13 on lunch yesterday and that doesnt last nearly as long as three tl+ memberships.
