That means news threads and forum threads can now have spoilers in the title and spoilers in the comments, though posters will still have to stay on topic (i.e. don't post about GSL in an NASL thread). Brood War news and forums will remain on the old spoiler policy. I don't like spoiler in thread titles. I always have to watch GSL VODs because I have to go to school during the broadcast time.

I will accept this compromise with open arms.

If I understand it correctly the Hide spoilers function will only work on the News sections, there will still be spoiler titles in the SC2 sections, which is why you'd need to hide those sections alltogether to avoid spoilers.

Good moves. of course this means that after or during every major event we will have billions of threads popping up discussing shit that with the spoiler policy would only be limited to the LR thread. I have more problems with this more than the news section.

Is it really that hard to leave winners out of titles and have spoiler warnings in threads? I know I'm the minority but the only event in prime time for me is GSL and everything else has to come from VODs. I just don't get why it's such a hassle for everyone. Because you are in the minority. Winners in titles and spoiler warnings and no spoiler images hurts the experience of more people than it helps. Especially when you can still avoid spoilers by taking the steps suggested in the OP. The question could be turned around on you, in that why is it a big deal to hit the spoiler check box and minimize the forum topics for a few hours before you watched VODs? Why force everyone else to conform to the minority convenience when people who care about spoilers can just take some steps too?

Correct. Hide them, watch the VODs, then open them.

How the hell am I supposed to slack off at work while trolling TL threads now?!? Hopefully it looks amazing on my home computer. (Which is not encumbered by running an ancient version of IE and horrific bloatware through a massively firewalled internal network. TBFH, I'm surprised TL.net doesn't twig the numerous web filters they use.)
