Please, if you are not staff, don't answer questions in this thread, even if you think you know the answer. Also, please take complains about bans, question about TL as a site, etc to the Website Feedback Forum. |

Answers must begin with the letter "c" and be between two and four sentences in length. They must also provide a brief insight into the driving factors behind the evolution of American culture since the 1950s. The names "Paul" and "Ron" must also be used in your answer. Curiously, I searched for a real story about such a mindblowingly philosophical situation just last week and found a funny one. Paul McCartney once threw a raw egg at Ron Wood, who walked on the other side of the road, which made Wood so angry that he threw a rubber chicken back at McCartney. While this totally documented incident proves that it always comes in handy having a rubber chicken at hand, it also proves that the egg crossed the road first, about 10 feet above the tarmac. No American under the age of 50 knows who these 2 guys are anymore, because of the sissyfication of music by (in disintegrating order) KISS, Prince, and Justin Bieber, which sums up all there is to say about American music culture.
Aha! Well done. Minus a few points automatically for mentioning Justin Bieber in your post, but they are earned back by tying him to the word "sissyfication"

Wouldn't it be prudent to summarily band and prosecute anyone posting stupidity about women in e-sports? There are too few women on TL and too many unthinking persons who are trying and very probably succeeding in scaring them off. As I can't imagine anyone making ludicrous comments in a woman-is-playing-sc thread contributing in a positive manner elsewhere, would it not be better to cull the immature and truly make an effort to make e-sports more women-friendly?

Are fanclubs a SC2 thing? I just realized that no one has made a fanclub for Flash.

I was considering it once, but I felt a bigger fan would be needed to make and maintain it.

What is the resoning behind this? Afaik Idra wanted to not be on the list and had no choice. I do not see the difference here.
Idra's stream will still be listed in the stream section. Our stream list is an informational resource much like the TLPD, Calendar, or Liquipedia. We believe for these resources to function properly, they must be comprehensive and complete and thus we do not remove banned pro players from them. Do you take him out of TLPD, Calendar and Liquipedia too?
It feels like you want the kick people to the max when they are on the ground and feature or unfeature the streams against their will. I think that is very immature - one of the points tl criticized about steven.

Hi, I have a question.
For Hero and Taeja, what are the changes in their lives when joining Liquid? Do they still practice with oGs and if so then what benefits do they gain by joining teamliquid? Also, what is the team doing make their korean players better? and, Do all the players unite some time or is it like two flanks, teamliquid korea and teamliquid world?
Thanks!

I tried to bring this up to motbob via PMs. I'm glad someone else brought it up as I really don't want to be here anymore. The double-standard is very infuriating. They aren't listing Destiny on the live stream bar because he doesn't bring enough views to the site/lacks popularity of Idra.
When clearly, they should do the same thing they did with Idra. TL ads were removed from Idra's stream page, and Idra was shown on the live stream bar. All while banned.

I think that is very immature - one of the points tl criticized about steven. I did not make the decision regarding Destiny's defeaturing. I do not know the reasons behind the decision. But I can imagine that the reasoning went something like this:
Destiny is not really a member of the TL community. He barely posts on TL and does not know what a "red name" means. If his account is banned, but his stream is still up, the ban was not a real punishment, and there is no incentive to keep him from mucking up the forums. Therefore, defeaturing the stream is necessary for the ban to have any meaning.

I am happy that this is not an official statement. Because that sound like abuse of power to me. Punish with any given possibility. This seriously destroys any informative character the streamlist had. Instead it is a people who tl likes list. Any eta on a statement?
What means the colored name, if Destiny is not right with that quote: "I thought the colored name or w/e meant he was a mod or some shit?"?
Where is your threshold of a member of TL, by you definition I (every 10 days a post) am not half the member Destiny (one post every 5 days) is.
edit: The ads are not removed on the right of his stream page.
