Hey guys, I'm not sure if there has been a GSL Finals party in New Zealand yet, but I'm sure ours will be the BEST ONE EVER!

This is an unofficial event by SESA (Software Engineering Student Association), so any UoA students are welcome to come

We will have a large room with a projector so it'll be pretty sweet. The event is FREE, but that also means I'm not providing you anything (other than the stream). Feel free to suit up and bring some booze or snacks! (NOTE: we've agreed to the faculty staff that we won't bring any booze, hip flasks from responsible drinkers are welcome. We can pop down to Shadows bar later for those who's keen to get their drink on)
When:
Saturday 14th May 2011
The Show Starts at 6:10 pm, so just be there by 6:00pm.
Where:
Eng 3.403, level 3, Engineering building, 20 Symonds Street, Auckland CBD

Post finals review:
WE GOT MENTIONED!! TWICE!! In set 4, if you skip to around the 7 min 45 sec mark, Tasteless gives New Zealand and Sunkee, our legendary organiser who went to South Korea a month ago, a big shoutout! And then at around the 27:20 mark JOHN THE TRANSLATOR gives our first Auckland GSL party a shoutout!! Hats off to you, my good sirs Tasteless and John, for making our event special

Overall it was an awesome GSL party, we had probably around 40-50 people show up even though some people couldn't make it, so it was a pleasant surprise when so many came. A big shoutout to Sunkee aka Salami (is that ur Bnet name? i forgot lol) for organising a room + computer + projector for us, and the free Nestea giveaways! Also thanks to the asian dude who came up and fixed our stream for us when we couldn't get the GOM player working properly lol. I'm sure the next time we will be better prepared

Until next time!
