Hello, all! It's become quite apparent that many of you are not reading the first post carefully. Failure to do so in the future will be met with swift punishment. And as always, remember to be civil. Thanks, Empyrean. Time stamp: 03:59 KST.

Instead should get a permaban already. Cant believe the nerve from the "fans" of Idra. If this was anyone else and if Idra didnt get such a favored treatment from TL he would get 5 permabans till now with all the shit hes been pulling out on TL. Yes get your heads of your asses and stop being such a dicks to Chill and the other TL moderators because they tolerated Idra so far but enough is enough.

He knew what kind of PMs Chill would be getting. Chill would have gotten them without the tweet. But tweeting about it increased the amount drastically.

Did they just want their hero to look like he had an irrational fanbase? Or are they trying desperately to justify his childish reaction? It can only be one... 178 does not equal all, not even by a long shot. Infact, if you like at it your way he didn't want people to harras chill, cause like 15k people did not. So yes, your argument is flawed...

fair decision imo, wish there wasn't so much drama over this it really isn't a big deal and I don't understand anyone trying to defend him, follow the rules no problem exists, break them you know the consequences. simple as that

I cant imagine them being very happy with this continued behavior. I'm interested in that as well actually. My guess is that they don't hear or know about a vast majority of the personal stuff that goes on between players and the community, and perhaps they don't care to know. On the other hand, its publicity, and there isn't such thing as bad publicity so (shrugs) I'm sure that they wouldn't condone a lot of the comments he has made, obviously.

THANK YOU SIR!!!! (violation of a TL commandment, i know) This should definitely be added to the OP, thanks again. Needed that info as I was confused about whether the 2 day ban was for a comment on idra's stream or on TL.

The funniest part is that if you look at what Idra posted in context he was telling people to leave cruncher alone after they started cyber-stalking him to prove he was stream-watching. Idra tells people to not harass cruncher but to just ignore him and people post this: On May 08 2011 09:34 SkelA wrote: Instead should get a permaban already. IdrA's twitter post simply states "wont be streaming for 2 days as i have been banned from tl for insulting cruncher, everyone pm Chill if this upsets you." There's nothing wrong with his suggestion, and nowhere does it encourage "harassing" or "spamming." If someone thinks they've been wronged, it's perfectly reasonable to ask people to speak up for them and to contact those responsible. It's almost like Yelp. If someone has a terrible experience someplace, they encourage other people to complain on their behalf. Stopping the stream because of the ban was a bit of a petty reaction to begin with, it was bound to trigger some response from his fans that like to watch his stream. And while the twitter message never encourages harassment or spamming, IdrA isn't stupid and he (and noone else here, I'd say) could've expected that these messages the fans would send wouldn't all be attempts at enlightened conversation. His Twitter message basically boiled down to wanting to make his fans believe that Chill caused him to stop streaming, which was 100% his own decision and in no way a logical consequence to a minor ban (I mean, who hasn't had a short temp-ban on some forum for some heated argument. A 2 day ban sucks, but it's hardly a big deal). Whatever Cruncher did or didn't do is not really related. It may require further investigation, I don't know, that's for TL to decide. But Crunchers case is independent from IdrAs and should be seen as such.

Idra tells people to not harass cruncher but to just ignore him and people post this: That's actually what bothered me most about the initial 2 day ban, which now unfortunately has led to this. IdrA felt he was cheated against, and instead of railing against cruncher in some profanity laced post, he essentially told people to ignore him. Also, I wanted to reiterate this point: None of this matters. IdrA can stream and still be seen on Teamliquid. He doesn't post often. He is not banned from Teamliquid events. Literally, all IdrA can not do is post for 90 days, which given his post rate means you'll miss out on about 90 IdrA posts. This doesn't matter. Quite frankly, neither side should raise a stink about this, and the fact that it does goes to show how engrossed some people are in the community and it should, hopefully, lead them to taking a step back and distancing themselves from this community if they can't respond or react rationally.
