So is it simply an automated message with the post that got you banned or does the mod who did the ban post their reason along with it. I know it shouldn't but it does amaze me how people can so easily reoffend. Hopefully an answer without me getting banned. lol, just ask n.DieJokes... in two days.

You can still log in if you get a temp ban .. it just redirects you to the Disney Land homepage, and then you just hit back lol .. all you can do is PM mods so it isn't that exciting..

Is teamliquid willing to take on the reigns on make an sc2 league? A 1v1 and a 2v2 ladder league would be cool and competitive plus there could also be a clan league. it's just something to throw out there, and maybe just get a little more solid of an idea.
players/teams can report matches and upload replays etc

He's like our Golem, only not very interesting. They're both balding, though.

Sounds like something to bring up on the website feedback forum if you really believe in it, this thread is more about asking moderators more...personal/fun questions: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/index.php?show_part=7

Hot_Bid, I saw that you graduated from Michigan Law school and passed the New York Bar. Are you going to abandon your legal career? If so, what compelled you to do it and join a risky startup?
Sorry if this question is too personal. I'm just curious because I'm thinking of chasing a similar dream myself

LOL. Never gonna happen.

I asked this before, and no one answered.
Where can I learn the history of TL and some of the histories of the awesome users? Should I just start PMing random admins/mods? :p Who'd give the best account of the history?
New Question:
If I got the history out of someone, who sounds the most like Morgan Freeman or has a storyteller's voice? (Get them to narrate haha)
Also, who has the most soothing voice? If any staff member had to sing you a lullaby and rock you to sleep in their arms, who would it be?
Edit: Too much tongue.

Is there anyone on the TL staff who is not in Masters league?
Dr Pepper or Coke?
|
who has the most posts on TL and how many do they have?
|
So I have to ask, is there a particular reason all of my dealings with TL staff have been you, Chill, or am I just lucky?

I'm just curious because I'm thinking of chasing a similar dream myself I love working for TL and it's amazing to be able to have that feeling every day when you wake up. Very few people can say that about their job. That's the main reason. I'm trying to avoid the whole "chase your dream do what you love" clicheness but it's hard not to frame it that way. Coming from an Asian family, raising kids has traditionally been very pragmatic in terms of priorities -- get your degree, get a stable job, etc. But my parents have been quite supportive. Of course, it's not like it's impossible to do law later in life, it's just TL now (and hopefully for a long time).
More practically, I don't have school loans and I'm still young (no family yet, etc). I can be a little selfish in pursuing goals. If TL becomes huge it might be a lifelong career, who knows. All start ups come with risk, and sooner or later I'll probably have to evaluate whether its worth it for me to keep doing this. For now, it's great and amazing. Down the line, if it does not work out, I am sure I can still find work somewhere. I'm not abandoning my legal career at all, if I did, I'd probably not even take the bar, as that was a pretty hellish experience to go through haha. Anyway, not to look down on lawyers or anything, but I don't think I would have been very happy working for a firm at this time in my life anyway. Probably would have clerked or done government or other work.

Dr Pepper or Coke? I'm a gold league zerg for one. I'd say the majority of staff I have on my friend list hover in the diamond ranks.

That's awesome. You're quite fortunate to not have any school loans And I agree, working for TL sure beats working in Biglaw. Hopefully you'll never have to go down that path.

This might have already been asked previously in this thread but I was curious if there was a Power Rank for SC2 in the works? Similar to what we have for BW. Thanks!

not a major sc2 league, a free to play league like cal league did for years with CS and tons of other games. or someone should take the initiative on it. make it like iccup and have people get prizes etc at end of ladder seasons to get them to want to play and then hopefully just have better competition and a better rating system.
