rune? You mean puzzle piece?
The globes iirc were reserved for the original four contributors, whereas the puzzle pieces are for the staff members that have contributed a ton, and continue to contribute as staff.
if you're really good, you'll remember the original 4 globes without going back and looking at the newspost ^^
