EDIT: anyone going to the cafe from NYU/soho area? let's meet up and head there together! The guest list is inside the spoiler and you've been on it for a while now And here I was all ready with an excuse as to how I missed you. Well you 100% missed me. What's your excuse now? :D

I might come. Depends if the expense of a round-trip bus ticket from Binghamton is worth it. ~80 bucks.

It's the lack of sleep
And since when was Queens not a part of NYC anymore? I'm almost slightly offended

hopstop.com use this for directions via public transportation to get there.
Best option if you are coming from the city is taking 7 train to Main Street, Flushing(last stop) and stay on the first car and soon as you walk out, take the left elevator or stairs and as you walk out, you will see a McDonald's on the corner, turn left to the walkway and end of the walkway turn right and you will see people waiting in line for bus. Find Q13 which is right in front of Woori Bank. You can take that and it will be about 2 stops. It's on Northern Blvd between Bowne Street and Parsons Blvd. You can actually walk instead of taking the bus but if you are using a metrocard, you are getting a free transfer anyway.

Depends. It's also a time commitment, as I would be on the bus for 3.5 hours each way. Also, we should go to a restaurant after the LAN for more food.
Meanwhile, we already have 4 players for HoN, we just need one more to complete a TL NYC HoN team. Besides, we know that HoN players are the best at SC, although I think NeVeR has a shot of beating everybody there.

Is there any chance we can keep the tournament moving quickly? I'd hate to have to miss it, but having a surprise birthday party and dinner for my dad with his friends that night, and it's about an hour traveling to queens. Not sure when I'd have to leave, but if we at least make an effort to keep matches going I'd really appreciate it.

Since this is a straight up tournament, it should go faster than the last one. Any suggestions on how we could speed things up even more?

Newbies allowed or is there like a high diamond requirement here?
Would love to see other people besides Ladder-ers and pro-gamers!

Newbies most definitely allowed. We usually have some people who just started playing, some who don't even play but like to spectate, and people who always lose first round (see username at the header of this post).
I was thinking of using iCCup maps sometime, but not very many people are familiar with them. Maybe after they get more popular. Some of them are flawed anyways.

Would love to see other people besides Ladder-ers and pro-gamers! Everybody is allowed! We're no elitists by any stretch of the imagination, and there's always a pretty wide range of skill levels here. We need to put the old NYC LAN FAQ up from the Amnesia lans, which is summarized as "Should I come if--" "YES. COME."

That was stolen from me, which was stolen from Chill's LAN meetup.
