Oh yeah really funny thing. We were talking about the whole thing with the DC meetup and how dudes didn't pay and left that guy 400 miles from home right before this happened.

also, the normal reaction would be "hey guys my card got declined, can you help me out" or something like that. I know all of us would have had no problems with it. You don't just get up and leave without saying anything.

But if you do pay us back I guess that's fine, the bill we had to cover came to be about ($88? someone confirm). It would be a hassle to find all 12 people who chipped in and pay them back, but I guess we can work on that eventually. More motivation for people to come to future LANs! xD
Don't really care what happens, if we get the money back it'd be fine. Big thanks to everyone who did help chip in.
Anyways the LAN was really fun, met some awesome people, I'll definitely go again if I'm around for the next one. Cheers.

Yeah the LAN was a lot of fun. We should definitely do it again soon. doesn't have to be a 40 person tournament either lol. Nice tournament though I got to semi finals before Nesh raped me.

Man, I don't give a shit about the money. It's the ethics that's the problem here. I mean, you essentially made us look like dickheads at the place, and we had to spend half an hour sorting out your mess. You didn't even tell us anything about your card getting declined. In fact, we didn't even notice you guys left cause you were apparently trying so hard to sneak out.
Plus, why would you leave money at the table? That's the dumbest thing you could possibly do. Any waiter passing by would just snag it and pocket the cash.
So yeah, I'm with ZoW on calling bullshit.
All that stuff aside, the LAN was really fun. Didn't get to play in it cause I got there so late, but the after party and meeting everyone was well worth the trip. Hope we get to do this again some time!
