Don't post in this thread to say "gay gamers are like everyone else, why do they have a special thread?" It is something that has been posted numerous times, and this isn't the place for that discussion.

Josketh, I'm just curious. How do you get all those amazingly attractive straight guys to pose for your photoshoot? Do you offer them monetary compensation? Or do most of them just shoot for free for their portfolio.

They are my friends so they just do it for free. Hilariously, they end up really liking it. Most of them are extremely shy or quiet and the photo op gives them a chance to really display a side that most people don't get to see. I usually just ask and they decide to go in. Then we meet up and just talk while we shoot. They end up hitting those poses naturally and we learn a lot about each other while it goes down.
A good example is Trebor. He was the Ice Climber for my Nintendo series. He actually didn't really talk to me for a long time after we became friends just because he is really really quiet. When we took some pictures for the first time he really opened up and you can see that in his photos.

a gay starcraft cruise even. we'd have a huge tv screen and a pool, and a whole bunch of computers to play. and we'd sail the seaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaas

Friends like you are the best. I've still got some great photo's from projects that friends needed to do over the years. Good to send to mam!

Yayaya. Haha. I love taking pictures. I started when I was a junior in high school as just something to do for memory's sake but I eventually starting treating it as an medium for my creative expression. The most successful photos I've done have come from my Nintendo series in the forms of Wario, the Ice Climbers, Falco, Bowser, Link, and Zelda. The rest were fun but I don't think they translated as well from my mind to reality.
I was considering doing some Starcraft stuff. Stylizing my friends into the essence of the three races. That will take some thought and I have a Pokemon project I am already working on. Haha. I'm going to play around with my camera next time me and the boys are playing some craft together. If it is okay, I'll post them here when I finally get around to it.

I think I liked your starfox set best. The whole working on an old car in the hot sun is very culturally american midwest. Was all that sweat real? Must have been hot.

trust me, don't wish for that. being gay IS nice, and even has some advantages over being straight, but there ARE disadvantages. alot of them. wish to be bi, no borders at least
also, (don't flame me toooooo hard for this please << ), there are theories that I support and believe in, stating that such things like fully gay or fully straight don't exist, but only preferences.... there were cases of straight guys falling in love with each other already, and the stories of gays marrying a woman and raising a family are rather comon. so there, like the guys before me said, never too late to experiment ^^
also; edit: josketh, love your DA ^^
edit2: okay, edited this stupid thingy 5 times now to get rid of typos. damn, me so bad v.v

Its really easy to get messed up and not knowing who you are. Gay people generally have a problem with their identity to begin with as well but BI people are bound to think theyre normal 1 second then gay the next.. and no matter what kind of relation ship you chose youre always going to be tempted by what you dont have.

While I am not going to argue how hard it's to realise for someone that they are Bisexual, accept it and live with it for the rest of their lives. Because in all honesty, I have no idea how that is, as I am not Bi. Even so, I am pretty certain that the most difficult sexual orientation that is out there is still Asexuality.
Not feeling attracted to either genders (or anyone for that matter) is in my eyes a "heavier burden" then realising you like the same gender or both and live with it. Just try to imagine, to feel no sexual attraction whatsoever towards any human being in the world. I know that Asexuality doesn't prevent someone from loving someone else nor prevents a person from having actual intercourse (or other sexual acts), but he/she most likely won't gain anything from such a act aside the statisfaction that he/she may (or not) brought some joy to their partner. On top of that comes the partner him/herself, who may enjoy having sex with his/her Asexual partner, but knows (unless the sexual orientation is a secret) that this is most likely just one-sided.
Of course I say this without any actual experience to compare the two as I haven't experienced being Bisexual nor being Asexual, so it's merely a assumption from me. ^ ^

It started off just using a spray bottle but quickly became actual sweat. Super hot and humid summers in the panhandle of Florida.
On the subject of sexuality, I think it would be easier on some people to be able to identify with a character in a show or movie that was also sexually ambiguous. In two stories I wrote for a Creative Writing class, one character was extremely open to love. He didn't take gender into account. If he loved him/her and he/she loved him back, it was a good match. The other story had a guy who was asexual, much to the dismay of a lady who fancied him. My professor was refreshed by the concept of having "different" sexualities than the normal straight or gay dynamics.
If there are any good movies, books, or TV series with sexually ambiguous or asexual characters, share it with us. But they should really make it happen. It could help some people out if handled properly.

I'm at that point a lot. I'm always bi one week or gay the next, liking women is a very fleeting taste of mine (even when I find I am attracted towards them I don't act on it just knowin' I'll probably be men only the next week). The Kpop girls last night kind of caught me off guard last night on GSTL, so hot, but after that ended I was too caught up with the players (I think Puzzle may be the cutest Korean there is)

I love this thread. You have no idea how comforting it is knowing that someone else deals with the exact same thing.

Yeah, Bi is hard. Bi sexual + mood swings = my love life gets ruined about monthly when I cannot correctly determine my orientation anymore. Current BF has been thoroughly warned though and is hanging on for now.
But at least, everything is eye candy some days.

Hi all! Been lurking around TL for far too long and finally decided to make an account. And of course, my post is on my favourite thread. Haha.

I agree with this sentiment. I am glad that I can identify myself as gay with certainty. Also, I wish to add that even in the LGBT community (that I know of), being identified as Bi has a stigma attached to them. To some gay/lesbian people, being Bi is a form of self-denial and not being 'brave' enough to say for sure that they are one or the other. I admit that I used to be less accepting of Bi people until I met this Bi who struggled with her sexuality initially but was finally able to make peace with her choice and her journey of exploration (as she puts it).
Josketh: Your DA gallery is awesome!!! (yes, this is part of the reason why I finally made this account, to give props to you)

Whew, finally got a chance to check one of my favorite homes on the internet today!
I definitely sympathize with bi guys. There are a fair number of gay guys (me included) who really don't even want to date bi guys for this reason. Quite frankly, if you put me next a girl of equal (or even slightly lesser) hotness, and told a bi guy he had to choose, he'd pick the girl 9/10 times. Everything about dating a girl is easier than dating a guy in our society AND girls are better looking to boot. At least...that's how I feel about dating a bi guy. I know it's not universally true but it definitely something that makes me shy away from a relationship with one.
TL:DR You may get the best of both worlds but the worst of both worlds comes with that too and I don't envy it.
Edit in cause I don't wanna spam posts: DUBBLE YEW TEE EFF! Is Doa married?! I noticed a ring on his left ring finger tonight. I am so sad panda but I am not surprised. *sigh* Time to burn this crush to the ground.
