Don't post in this thread to say "gay gamers are like everyone else, why do they have a special thread?" It is something that has been posted numerous times, and this isn't the place for that discussion.
For regular posters, don't quote the trolls. |
I am 16 years old and bi with a girlfriend. However, I am trying to aim for a feminine fashion like this kid http://img638.imageshack.us/img638/163/fem2.jpg Do you think it is possibly for an Asian in his late teens to pull this off?
Another question, What is your opinion on bisexual guys? Would you date them or flirt with them because I have had more success with other bi guys (or straight guys I managed to convince to go gay for me) rather than gay guys.
Sorry if this is a really stupid question.

You have never convinced a guy to go gay. I guess I won't be too hard on you, because you're 16, but honestly what you said shows me you're very ignorant about male sexuality. You should try and be supportive to people who didn't have the guts to say "I'm gay," (and had to make YOU think you were "turning" them gay), as opposed to looking at it like some kind of conquest. Again, you're 16, but you should take the time now to teach yourself sex isn't about ego-tripping.
As for the picture, sure you could look like that, if someone to a photo of you and it was airbrushed into oblivion.

Trying to avoid the inevitable conversation about the morality of being gay is reinforcing the view that being gay is strange and wrong somehow. It isn't a taboo right? I think people would be better off discussing it in a civilised manner, rather than separating them because they have different views. A forum seems to be a good place to wittle down that wall no?

Chappelle show had a bit called "Ask a gay guy". One dude asked a question there and the gay guy who was supposed to answer it just said a joke instead. I have a few gay friends but i never wanna ask them in fear of them thinking im flattering myself. So i will ask here.
As guys, we wanna sleep with almost every other girl out there, im not saying we'll try so hard to nail that chick that works in burger king, but it always comes down to "meh", fuk it, why not,, i'd do her. So do gay guys feel that way, do you feel like you kinda almost wouldnt MIND doing all the other guys.
I am serious, and i am being truly sincere, please don't ban or warn me.

Possibly You: What does sexuality have to do with Video Games? I don't care if someone is gay or not, it just shouldn't be on an SC2 forum.
Well, no.
It's so difficult to start somewhere in this explanation. blarhg
When you're gay you don't know if you belong anywhere. You're taught, culturally, that it's disgusting and wrong. It's cool to be cool with people who are gay, but it's disgusting to want to have a dick in your mouth.
You ask questions like: If i talk, will everyone know that i'm gay? Will my friends still be my friends if they knew? Will my family still love me? Am i less of a man because i like other men? Am i male enough to hang out with heterosexual men?
This kind of minority is tricky. Before you have a chance to gain experience in gay culture, you don't have the tools to indentify who is gay and who isn't. The only people who are gay are the flamboyant guys on your TV screen and the faggot who gets beat up at lunch time because he likes to wear pink jeans (though in bigger cities this is less the case). We don't have any way to indentify each other. We can't see the only other asian/white kid/wheelchair/fatty in our school and go "hey, we can join forces against haters and be without hate".
And the hate is a different kind too. Being gay is about what you're aroused by. It's a deviation in carnal human behaviour. When someone hates you for that deviation, you feel that you can't argue with them. That It's not wrong to hate something disgusting. You understand that disgust because you’ve experienced it in the other direction – that the thought of sticking my tongue inside a dank vagina made me want to puke. That when i would watch straight porn, and see the tits bouncing around, i would lose my erection.
You sympathize with the disgust.
That's fucked.
So then many of us tend towards a hobby or a lifestyle that will be inclined to bring us in contact with other gays. We shy away from sports, we befriend more women than men, we learn to like fashion; we become masters at gossip.
But i like sports. I didn't get the fashion gene. I like to have conversations about things that are interesting, not trivialities regarding who said hi to whom.
I like strategy games.
So where do i find another guy that has the same interests?
Imagine if the only place you could meet girls was an internet forum called "Heterosexuality". You've never seen them in class. You've not seen them on the street. You've never had a conversation with one, you've never even made contact. Man, that would suck.
It does suck.
So i've created this thread for a few reasons. 1) For gays to find other gays that actually have something in common, other than their seuxality. 2) For gays to ask questions. I have a lot of experience with sexuality and gender psychology. 3) For everyone else to ask questions. Want to know if gaydar really exists? Want to know how gays figure out who gets to be on top or the bottom? Why do gays talk with a lisp anyway? Does Mora really have a crush on Incontrol?
Go!
edit - If you're question is more personal and you do not want it broadcasted on tl.net, feel free to send me a private message.
LOL, Hi sexy^^ If there is a god, I'll see ya in hell buddy.

transvestites are men or women who dress as the opposite sex for pleasure
transgendered/transexuals are people who possess the gender identity of the opposite sex

I guess many teenagers are going through a phase and their hormones are going a bit crazy. I am supportive of the gay community overall, but one problem I often ran into at school with gay kids is that they are gay, therefore, they are special, they are the exception and fuck you if you do not say hi to them in the hallway (even if you have an angry face on). I sadly cannot support that kind of attitude but I do listen to them and treat them kindly since they have to put up with enough shit in a redneck area.
As for my little "conquest", I will admit I am a bit arrogant about male sexuality but this is between my closest friends who are a bit horny.
I am not trying to turn this into a discussion about morals, just my personal experience running into them.

I have a huge doubt about gay relationships for a long time. If one side of a gay couple gets surgery to become feminine/masculine, isn't the other side in a relationship with somebody from the wrong gender? I understand that you love the person, not the gender, but this will be a huge mind wall on the sexual part of the relationship.

+ Show Spoiler +To be honest, my whole point of view on the gay sexuality is that it belongs to a very selfish kind of lifestyle where your just wanting to fulfill your own desires, and disregarding the fact that it took so many generations of your lineage to end up with you being the responsible of keeping it going, and you cannot make that happen if you fall off the track of your manhood and leave women behind from helping you conceive off springs of your own. Hope this helps you better understand where I'm coming from.

I don't think it was fair to ban XothermeK for that post. It was coherent, and he had a point. He wasn't trolling, insulting or being overly offensive. I noticed his location says United Erab Emirates, which is one of the least gay-tolerant places in the world (punishable by the death penalty)! We gay folks can discuss our culture in threads like these, but you ban someone expressing a different opinion? Pro-equality, right? He's had a very different upbringing if he's in any way connected to his home country and I don't mind hearing what he has to say, despite wholeheartedly disagreeing with him.
I feel that discriminating against his anti-homosexuality is as equally unjustifiable as discriminating against homosexuality. It should be OK to hear both sides of the discussion. There's hate speech, and then there's just a difference of opinion...
EDIT: I haven't said anything to suggest every person with a link to UAE is automatically anti-gay. I am certain that there are gay people from the UAE. I apologize if what I said came off as a generalization. I was suggesting that if you've been brought up in an anti-gay environment, there is a good chance you'll take on that opinion. I don't mean to play devils advocate, but homosexuality is more controversial in UAE than, say, Canada. So I've read, anyways. I was using the probability of him growing up in an homophobic environment as an explanation for his opinion. There is a wiki page on LGBT rights in the UAE: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGBT_rights_in_United_Arab_Emirates

FUUU double post...sorry. Pressed "quote" instead of "edit".
I'll add a related question to my post above then, to make it worthwhile:
Are there any non-spiritual reasons to oppose homosexuality, or is homophobia purely based on society/peer pressure and/or religion?

If a male has had surgery and taken estrogen so much that s/he appears female in every way, it's not really gay, because he's attracted to the female traits. If he thinks she looks like a female, it's not gay. What you see is what you get.
Edit: fuck, I misread transvestite as transsexual. Sorry. -_- however, transvestites can still have surgery.

at that point they wouldn't be a transvestite, as only transgendered/transsexuals are able to get such surgery. its all in the standards of care for Gender Identity Disorder.
