Don't post in this thread to say "gay gamers are like everyone else, why do they have a special thread?" It is something that has been posted numerous times, and this isn't the place for that discussion.
For regular posters, don't quote the trolls. |
To the OP:
Homophobes are a dying breed, a thing of the past that haphazardly clings on with teeth and claw. Besides, why do you care what 14-year old Muppet puppets with self-esteem issues and sexual insecurity has to say about it? They're probably living in the closet anyways. Straight guys who don't, usually don't give a crap unless they're religious or political fanatics with zero argumentative reasoning. Too bad we can't talk about those topics (religion and politics) in here, cause I'd definitely have my say about it - believe you me! ^.^
Be proud of your sexuality. You said it yourself, you try to look for likeminded people and hang out with them - as do we all. Besides, we're just too individual to be generalized as gay, straight or bi anyways. There's more to it than that, and "sexuality" is just the physical part of it. People seem to forget completely about the spiritual part of human life - finding someone to mentally connect with regardless of sexuality.
I don't really see how my own sexuality could possibly translate into anything useful whatsoever when playing Starcraft 2. I guess I could myself be generalized as a bisexual, hedonistic metafetish latex lover with a thing for cigars if people absolutely need to - but come on, it still wouldn't say anything about what I specifically like (thus making any such generalization completely void) - nor does it say anything about my non-sexual persona:
- I don't like absolutely all men or women on this planet, quite many actually Disgust me. - I have a colorful sexual life, but I also subscribe to the BDSM'ers concept of "Sane, Safe and Consensual". - I became bisexual at 24-25 years of age, I never came out of any closet. I simply changed. - I'd imagine "God", in his Omniscience, is smart enough to know who I am and judge me accordingly, without the interference of imperfect, opinionated humans - a logical assessment, not a religious statement (moderators).
If any of you guys in here thinks I'm disgusting or weird - great, that means that it's even less than the current 0.0000000001% chance of you and me ever getting married
I think the main issue is that homophobes are just deathly afraid that gays are gonna creep up on them in the middle of the night - like the Bogeyman or something. I find that to be rather hilarious.
Anyways, I got a big enough wall of text here. Hope it all works out for you. Good luck!
Cheers

In reality though I'm certainly a starcraft player that is gay, not a gay starcraft player, since while having such a gimmick would be brilliant marketing material if I ever turned pro, but being categorised as "the gay one" gets a little tiring after a while.
Now you know six! Nice to meet you.
How do I know if I'm a top or a bottom? Are there people who are both equally? Does it spell doom for me if I'm only really attracted to muscular, fit men?

3) For everyone else to ask questions. Want to know if gaydar really exists? Want to know how gays figure out who gets to be on top or the bottom? Why do gays talk with a lisp anyway? Does Mora really have a crush on Incontrol?
I have a question regarding #3 If I sleep with a ladyboy a.k.a transvestite and like it, does that make me gay?
|
I've heard some word buzzing around that roughly 50% of gay men are also ninjas. If this is true, do you have any evidence you can provide?
Edit* I will shamefully admit that while I am not homophobic, I do discriminate against ninjas.

There is no such thing as too much.
Back hair should be purged.
No hair should be longer than an inch, anywhere on your body. Armpits have leeway.
The following picture is of ideal body hair, from possibly the most perfect man in existence. (tied with forrest griffin).

if you like dick i'd say bisexual... If you like dick, I'd argue that you are a dick lover. Hopefully, a man is more than just his dick. Although some guys are dicks though.

there is no simple answer to that. How do you define those labels? Call yourself according to your definitions. Explain when necessary.

What do you think of the Old spice man?
Seriously tho, very informative thread, many of my questions have already been answered.

In your opinion ofc
That's such an odd way of thinking.
Of course you can admire traits in other men without wanting to get on your knees and have them ram their cock down your throat.
You can even admire physical traits.
You're silly.

This thread is funny. Sounds like all my friends asking me questions about being gay.

well, you have a shaved head and a strong jaw line. these are 2 characteristics that are very popular among gay men.
i would enjoy seeing more pictures though. clothes on is fine.
since my trickery-card didn't get past you, i'll play a different one.
If you think what i've done with this thread and my intentions of helping people is an honourable venture, show me more pictures.

I once video-gamed online with a gentleman who was gay. From my point of view as a straight person, I asked him how it felt to him that his sexual orientation served no biological function (ass-babies notwithstanding).
He countered, incorrect! Homosexuality does serve a biological function in the context of the entire species: population control.
I have to agree. I'm morally repulsed by breeding at this stage of humanity. There are too many humans, too little fuel and food, and too many kids in orphanages. This is a stage in the population boom in which some homosexuality is actually called for. Unfortunately, the nations who breed the most are simply continuing to breed.

If you were to go up to a group of girls, and discuss girls making out, what would be their response? What if you went up to a group of guys? And then go back to the girls and talk about guys making out with each other? And then to a group of guys and ask about guys making out with each other? People are cool with you being gay. They're just not cool with a guy being with a guy. This can even be seen in popular television shows to do with homosexuals. How often do u see a gay sex scene in WIll and Grace, or Sex in the City, or other shows with gay characters? (and i don't mean full on scene, but rather just hints/foreshadowing of close intimacy). Gays are in television, with their flamboyance and all, but actually being gay is not very exposed. Yeah, actual man-on-man gay sex is rarely seen on popular television. The only show I can recall showing extended, sensual kissing and foreplay is HBO's The Wire, with the gay gangster Omar Little. Even on The Wire, it was pretty tame compared to the graphic depictions of straight sex. Torchwood has some. But yea, right now they are going with girls (Stargate:Universe, House, The L word etc.) But its a start! In Latvia praid got shit thrown upon (literally and figuratively ) and forced to location which was closed from public, like what the hell, do they even know what it is for. ehh. On the side note: have you ''converted'' or discovered any straight guys?
i've not converted anyone, though i have had several sexual encounters with straight men.

Hey Mora that's cool. I'm gay.

Are there any cute femboys here?

This is such an amazing and mature thread
It's too bad that open discussions like these don't exist everywhere (like in the houses and on the televisions of the bigots, the super-conservatives, and the religious fundamentalists) so that we could start treating homosexuals fairly...
Props to you, Mora!

IMO we are equally as conservative (which sucks), yet most Americans think Canada is super-liberal and is like The Netherlands or something. most of my American friends think Weed is legal here, lol, but the "War on Drugs" is in full effect in Canada also. Alberta is like a Texas wannabe, its conservative as FUCK. our government is basically a Bush administration clone also. My city (Ottawa) is really really conservative.
I find Vancouver to be pretty liberal. i can walk anywhere downtown holding another man's hand without getting verbally assaulted.
weed was decriminalized at one point. and you can smoke it in the amsterdam cafe on hastings street.
Montreal and Toronto are pretty liberal too from what i hear. The rest of Canada might not be, but those 3 cities have roughly a good 3rd of the popultion of Canada. lol

Hey Mora
I must say that this has been an interesting read. Though I must say that it was a bit disturbing to read some of the more vulgar posts by you. I am not objecting to gays having sex or anything. But lines as the ones about anal sex just weren't pleasant to read. What you do in the bedroom and what you enjoy doesn't bother me as long as you don't go in to detail about. And I think this goes for all sexualities really cause I'd imagine that no one really wants to hear all the details about someones sex life for different reasons of course. But anyways was a nice read and I happy that you were so open about it and answered that many questions. Good luck with both Starcraft and your real life man
