Yeah if they completey close 495 (which they will do sometimes) they generally route you off to 66 which you take towards DC and then jump back on to 495 further north. Just don't miss that exit or you're driving all the way into DC...

Well he literally just got his license 2 days ago and wasn't planning on coming but decided to come at the last minute. Ended up getting lost (went 1 exit too far on 495 I think) and was heading to il mee through shady backroads in annandale when he drove over something and blew right front tire. He managed to pull into a nearby parking lot and called me. I had to go find him in some back parking lot somewhere like a mile from il mee. then we had to replace the tire but lugnuts were impossible to loosen or something and the tools we had sucked so I ended up calling roadside assistance and they brought a truck out... fun times.

I can say that's probably the first time I ever had to rescue a TL member. :D

Seriously, I've been driving for years and I've NEVER had any car issues. Was fun testing out my AAA membership last night, I called them and a truck was there like 15 minutes later it was epic. Totally worth $40 a year for that.

Really? When i called for my mom, when her car broke down on my birthday......

took them 2-3 hours to get out and help...

(idk what was going on in my moms head, she drove to pick up my brother and the car was smoking)
SO she goes to McDonalds to get some food for my brother, and no one says anything about the billowing smoke that's coming out of the car...

She manages to get 1 street away from our house before the car died at least...
