I live walking distance from Grosvenor/Strathmore on the red line (2 stops past Bethesda) so my own laziness would lean towards you meeting me here. But I'm not entirely sure of where you're getting on the metro so if that is just annoyingly far I can figure out how to get to the Fairfax metro station. Ipp, let me know if you want to combine forces and if so where to find you (assuming I'm driving)

If I had to get 2 stops past Bethesda that'll take me like an hour 15 minutes of travelling, and I'm even lazier.

my sister has 1 car in N.C this weekend the other car is in the shop for something, theres no way I could commit to driving anyone considering I might not have means to get myself there.

It's already going to be a little tight in my car with 2 other people (a 2 door, and i'm rather on the tall side). Unless Ipp was planning on driving us and has a larger car but i haven't talked to him much about it and just kind of assumed I would be the one driving.

And yeah fairfax/vienna is a little bit out of the way for me which is why I figured I'd see what lucky was doing because I was under the impression he was closer. I understand not wanting to meet me at the metro I live next to because it's pretty much the opposite direction of Il Mee from GWU. Trouble is, the way the metro system works the only 2 stops in the vicinity of my route are the one i live next to and vienna

I have a car, its across the country, nice time you're in california and need a ride from me i'll be sure to tell you to drag your car to california k

I can go up to the red line if you need its just that means i have to take like literally an hour and a half to get up to the stop, then its like a 45 minute drive from there to il mee, and presumably wherever I get dropped off afterwards, if its that same stop, would take me another 2 hours to get back home. If thats what it takes, fine I don't really care but its just a serious pain in the ass to travel for 5 hours

I'm ok with squeezing in the back seat, I mean hell I'm used to having to go in the back seat of Chris's truck, and his floor is cluttered with boxes and tupperware and god knows what else lol, and there can't be much more room back there than behind a 9 foot tall person in a coupe. It's just a matter if you're ok with giving me a ride lol

I'll text Rob at 8, if he says he's not going then I'll leave for the metro and go up to the stop you mentioned earlier unless you're ok with picking me up at the Fairfax stop, or the Springfield stop (those are the two that are closest to il mee, about 10-15 minutes away) but I have to know in advance which one because it takes me anywhere from 40 to 60 minutes to get to those stops once I leave my computer, or a lot longer, if I have to get up to 2 stops past Bethesda.

PS: Why do we bother trying to set this up 4 days in advance if you guys all bitch at me to get a car no matter how many days in advance we start talking about it. I don't ask for rides last day, i respond as soon as possible to this thread lol, but if we need to set something up lets actually get it going.

I'll go to whatever stop, I would just prefer to go to the ones that take the least traveling time out of all our ways if possible ie: If Mike is coming up from Maryland down, going to say the Springfield stop will take maybe 10-15 minutes longer than if he goes to il mee directly. and that'll keep my trip the same distance, vice versa if I go up to grovesner/strathmore that takes an extra hour to an hour and a half for me, and an extra 2 hours on the way back. I'm not trying to be a dick about it but thats just how it is.
