Is this true? or is it ok to keep taking because its replacing bread fibre? Any insight would be great ![]() Thanks Why do you need to take fiber supplements? As long as you are eating fruits and vegetables you will be getting as much fiber as you need. Secondly, eliminating bread does not make you no carb. Lots of other things have carbs in them.... such as the aforementioend fruits and vegetables... In fact, anything you drink that's not water besides maybe coconut milk is going to have carbs in them. nono, i understand that, im eating bananas and grapefruit for fruits and taking a multivitamin. i just wondered if I was doing something unhealthy, heh

![]() New goals for by May Squat: 425 Deadlift: 450+ Bench: 300 And also work a lot of my fitness for rugby. Not sure how far my lifts have fallen in the last 5 weeks. Time to start eating right again, but i usually eat better on days i work out because i feel like i'm screwing myself out of gains if i eat poorly when i lift.

It's going to be a tough ride so I'll probably be looking here in this thread for inspiration frequently. It's a good feeling to "know" how much of what I'm eating (calories, protein) so that I KNOW that I don't need to eat any more than what I've planned to. I had gotten pretty darn good at eating "good stuff" this year but the quantity was far too big, so this is the natural next step!

Although I suppose since you don't have any now and correctly limit volume you can definitely do that. You definitely want to keep your weight if you're playing competitive bball as long as it's not mostly fat mass. I was wondering about a vert jump program if I weren't as heavy, say 5' 10" and 150 lbs. I'm lifting with the starting strength program and was thinking about adding a pyro program when I start to plateau with my lifts. It would be for playing Ultimate Frisbee. I was also wondering if you had a protein/whey powder supplement that you particularly recommended or if they are all about the same. I'm pretty sure I'm not getting enough protein because my dining hall tends to cheap out on meat.

In addition for that i usually eat peanut butter, a lot of milk, turkey sandwhiches, and the caf usually has some sort of chicken/fish/beef. More or less this... It's much cheaper to just eat whole foods like such milk, eggs, etc. But if you really wanted to buy some whey you can just get some of the "cheap" 5 or 10 lbs tubs and take it PWO...
