i've had pretty lousy sleeping habits lately though so i guess that's part of the reason why i'm sucking balls. not to mention i've been living at mcdonald's and kfc for the past month. need to stay away from that shit.. getting closer to bw press by the fortnight! :D | ||

Good news: Killed all of my weights so far with ease for the most part. Got somebody to spot me in bench and easily put up 140. Compared to how hard 135 felt I didn't think I'd get it. My semester is almost over (Finals next week), then a month break here we come. Saw a hot ass redhead today. Bad news: Got a infection in my cornea. Can't wear contacts for about three weeks so I can't see anything May be screwed out of an A in my interpersonal comm. class. This could drop my GPA from like a 3.8 to a 3.7. Yes I will be mad. May be getting sick, kind of debating whether or not to left today because of this. I probably will though. Lifts update: Squat 195 (lbs), Bench 140, Press 80, Deadlift 125 (Finally think I'm doing this correctly). | ||

A little background; I started powerlifting in April (did almost no real physical trianing before) and 1.5months after that took part in a competition to get a feel of what it was. It was there that I had an accident while squatting and herniated a lumbar. Surgery was required, but did not go for it. After three months of pain (anywhere from my face to my feet hurt all the time and this was due to how bad the injury was) and therapy, I started a very, very painful comeback to training. After an hour long lifting session, it would be impossible to bend anything from my lower back downwards. This kept going on for 3 months and my back still kills me at times. It's been 4 months since I started working for recovery. I have now beaten all my lifts and there's only increments in the way. Mind you, I was supposed to get spinal surgery to fix a lumbar herniation. Tl;dr: If you are going to give up think again. Is it *REALLY* that bad? Mewt Age: 22 || Height: 1m 81 cm || Weight: 203lbs Starting Date: 16/08/2010 (yes, 4 months ago) || Goal Date: 31/12/2011 Weight goals -- Anywhere between 210 and 230lbs with not much fat increase. Training goals -- 405squat, 460 deadlift, 225 bench. My upper body is very weak but should reach that. Nutrition goals -- Eat more. Misc goals -- Get rid of all lumbar herniation pain and get proper lower back mobility again. | ||

I've posted a few videos, i'm clearly not 50 pounds overweight at 6'1 200lbs with the amount of muscle i have :p It stated next i have very little fat and listen to this..."might" be an athlete! hurray :D Started off having a shitty session cause a)i squatted my ass off yesterday and b)drank heavily. I only snatched up to 75. However a well-timed emotional text in the middle of my clean workout really ramped me up. ended up cleaning and power cleaning 120kg (new pr). Gonna start adding in the jerk afterwards next week now that i'm pretty happy with my clean form. | ||

I´m thinking of drinking rum (guess it will be Bacardi) with coke light, anyone knows what kind of effect drinking a lot of that has on keto? Since it has no carbs it shouldn't have effect on that right? I don't mind the extra calories that are in alcohol, i just don't want to go through the first days of switching to keto again ![]() | ||

A month and a half ago I got pneumonia. Shortly after that, I got better and then got a cold. I finally felt better yesterday morning, and today I wake up with something that feels like post nasal drip? wtf? | ||

Workouts can do that too if you if youre immune function is down from it. Same with diet (not eating ennough, eating inflammatory foods, etc). | ||

Same with diet (not eating ennough, eating inflammatory foods, etc). I don't even know. I've been carpet bombing each cold with 20,000 IU of vitamin D3 a day. I didn't work out when I had pneumonia for two weeks. My diet is mainly of eggs, green vegetables, and meat. I take 10-15 ml of liquid fish oil a day. It could be stress. I have a serious amount of shit going on in my life involving one week left in this semester, two insane women showing up at my place at random times, and family problems. | ||
