Brewmaster, clicks offlane on the minimap after taking more than a minute to load into the game. Ping reveals that he's floating at around 350 ping He ends up with two deaths by three minutes, followed promptly by his disconnect from the game. Bye, internet points! Next game. Bloodseeker mid, Naix woods, Faceless Void safelane vs a beastmaster/bristle dual lane, and I'm the lone support rubick looking at the minimap and seeing no signs of help or usefulness for the first 15 minutes of the game until our offlane Clockwerk. Needless to say, my team's strat of "Boy I hope we have the most passive game of Dota EVER and are not dead by 25 minutes!" didn't work at all, and we got fucking run over by a train by the 20 minute mark. I -HATE- Faceless Void. He's even less useful than Spectre and AM in lane, and basically guarantees a boring as shit game. Not to mention he can't afford to back up any lane harass at all because of how desperately he needs the farm, and how shitty timewalk is at early ranks. I don't care how scary he is endgame (provided the first 25 minutes weren't shit) I dont ever want that purple thing on my team. | ||

I say nothing about his shit build (aghs first, super late radiance, no mana regen so he's completely empty for fights), I simply suggest many times could you help us push, to end. I don't even know if he understands me. Gradually over time we go from easily winning every team fight to losing. Finally necro speaks "GG we lost". I haven't been so annoyed in a long time. I am typing so much and being friendly for first time trying to organise the team but it feels like talking to a wall for 50 minutes. | ||

I'd really want to blame the centaur guy too cause he chose him as he already knew we had only me as "support" and I already told at the beginning I wasn't planning to do it. I even first picked for christ's sake. But at least he didn't try to blame anything on anyone, didn't steal my lane, and actually heard my advice when i told him to get return (albeit i saw it a bit late). I also made many mistakes on this game... but still. There are people I can't stand. Fuck this guy. | ||

I don't know if I'm ever going to find a good team. Not even necessarily competitive. Just people as good to pub with. Nope, I get people in this story I've been using dota2tmm for a while now and I haven't had the best of luck with it tbh but you don't win unless you try. First game we do an ranked AP pub since I said I didn't want to do cm with a fresh team.(And the others agreed with me) Entire game is me having to make calls since the so-called captain never spoke up(I was the 5/4 support) End result is me ending the game as a 9-4-19 The hard carry goes AC and Mjollnir before BKB vs an entire team of magic damage(Other than the slardar) The 5th slark decides to afk in fountain for 5 minutes and let invoker free farm cause I didn't place wards immediately. Granted, I didn't do that cause I was attempting first blood and then I had to pull but still. The jakiro goes sobi mask first to go basi. I have to tell him every single item to get. I tell him to get urn. What does he do? He rushes urn before boots and dies to a slar cause he has 290 fucking ms. Bounty never got an oov and went phase before bottle. We have a 5th this time since he arrived late or something. He goes mid bane(which is legit but I was still skeptical. I grab a haste rune and attempt to fb the sf. We don't get it but sf loses a good 3/4 of his hp and I figured bane had this lane won with enfeeble and bane's huge base damage. Nope. Loses the lane hard somehow. This time I tell the other support what to build right from the start(Arc boots+stick into blink) on earthshaker. Nope, he gets a soul ring with boots and then proceeds to get a 30 minute blink. This game wasn't even close. I managed to have high kill participation but near the end it was just me getting 2-3 shot by sf+sniper. I bet that guy wouldn't have been having so much fun if he wasn't winning. Actually, he and I should queue together so I can just keep his wave pushed the whole time. Telling people they have to be 4k+ to have a fun game doesn't seem reasonable. | ||

I apologize for being confrontational, but I despise this sort of psychologism where the goal isn't to engage in an argument, but to just essentially call the other person weak minded. By the way, I'm not arguing that there is an elo hell, but I do think you can be upset about objectively awful teammates regardless of skill. | ||

think about this situation. you are terroblade with midas, radiance and brown boots. the enemy team has all lanes pushed to your base so the only way to get out is by going as 5. what item would you get next? YES EXACTLY! every person would get BoTs at this stage. think about all the things you can port to..fountain,ancients,t4 and t3 towers. mind you that this guy had about 5,2k mmr.. | ||

All of my friends are obsessed with getting big epeen number MMRs and just grind games on whatever pub cheese they're best at (hi Lycan) and think it makes them good. The last time I grouped with them may very well have been before New Year's. Meanwhile in solo queue I am not enjoying my games. Every game there is some asshat flaming everyone. Play with a guy with 5800 MMR, he can't avatoss, feeds mid, yells at team, decides to intentionally feed and masses couriers. Really? Play a game where we're ahead by a fair margin, we lose one teamfight and our Venge freaks the fuck out and starts flaming everyone, screaming about how terrible we are, criticizing everyone's play. Team falls apart and starts trying to take fights when I'm not there, creating a vicious circle of feeding and flaming, eventually our team just AFKs while they take our base even though we could still win and it wouldn't even be that hard. | ||

It actually was a bit of both, but either way I appreciated your response and the insight. I still blame myself for not being good enough to 5v1 because obviously there are many who can better than I, but its still really frustrating when you have to repeat to your teammates "please, I understand its frustrating but running into them over and over feeding lives because you think its over doesn't help us" and its even MORE frustrating when they don't understand enough english to get that point across. Stupid emotion or not, I just honestly feel cheated a lot of the time because others decide the game sucks and its over so hurry up and finish at 8 minute mark. | ||

At least we get all their tier 3s by around 12-13 minutes. Mid sniper gets shadowblade, huskar gets something, slardar has armlet. I try to push the lanes so they get max farm, while buying every single ward in the game, also watching when the enemy is trying to get a fight with my guys, throwing my ults at them. 25 minutes later, sniper has shadowblade, huskar has something, slardar has armlet. Everyone but me feeds a million kills, ogre walks into enemy jungle with doom in there and just keeps dying, sniper thinks he is immortal(,which in most pubs he probably is). In every teamfight, huskar stands nearby until most of our team is dead, then goes and dies in a second. The only thing in english I get is at the end coming from this ogre that has been sleeping most of the game:"why did you pick huskar in cm". On the other hand the language barrier saved me a few braincells. | ||
