Team picks enchantress and ursa. mid sf and safe lane wk both go 0-10 in ten minutes. I buy all the wards, naturally.
Yeah I think I'm done with AP, at least in CM I can control what heroes they pick.
3 stack btw. You'd expect one of them to have seen a game of dota before.

e. I think I got 14 minute battlefury and brown boots with FV in a game where I wasn't pressured at all. I probably had a kill too.

OD decides leveling Astral Imprisonment isn't worth it past lvl 2, feeds horribly in lane, calls everyone terrible players while being 300MMR below the second lowest rated player in our team. Also, Nxy Assassin (who was drafted as support) whines all game about no wards on the map and no detection against the offlane Weaver. Big surprise, they both stacked together. Nxy Assassin's MMR was TBD.

I really don't care for having bad games or getting outlaned or anything like that but that attitude drives me nuts.

How the fuck are you supposed to carry a four-stack that goes 8-30? There's literally nothing you can do. If it's just solo players playing badly you can at least try to organize shit, but if it's a four stack, there's no hope.

One player DCs on the other team and I decide to take it safe with Sven and just farm like a beast. After all, my team is ahead in kills and towers.

10 minutes later they have fed 15 kills to the enemy and I have a shadowblade drow hunting me down with a daedalus. How the fuck do you feed 15 kills in 10 minutes?

OD on my team. AFKs on the hero pick screen after picking (i.e. didn't press the start button).

Ok, we pause a bit. He eventually presses start. He AFKs for the first few minutes in base. Kunkka mid on their side gets up to level 4 no problem.

OD finally comes out of the fountain and goes mid. Starts feeding mid. Kunkka gets midas. OD goes top. Feeds top.

By this point the other guys on my team are yelling at him. His responds in angry Portuguese.

Still won because...well...I was Lycan and the other team was terrible at handling the push. But damn it was painful... :-\

(Not to mention the other team was a goddamn five stack. Seriously Valve put the bloody solo queue back in.)

as a european at 5.5k mmr i've concluded 3 things:

> anything but EU west/east fucking sucks, americans and south americans are complete trash can kids comparatively
> anyone who plays a carry and goes quelling blade has a mental illness of some kind
> captains draft is the only enjoyable mode to play

sometimes dota really fucking sucks, it's a good thing i enjoy watching it tbh

Two russians say "bot for us" at the beginning, I'm thinking they probably have some kind of plan then? So they go bot, and proceed to feed 8 deaths within the first 10 minutes of the game. Top lane is going equally well, with spectre dying two times and not getting much farm. Meanwhile I'm dominating midlane and running from top to bottom snagging kills hoping to get some momentum back. Getting 5 kills before my first death..but sometimes you just can't carry hard enough..

Just had a Shadow Fiend take mid and give 2 rapiers to the radiant. Sad thing is we should have won if riki hadn't suicide against void while having one of the 2 rapiers.

I would really like to see some pro or even better a team of pros taking several games with a 3 or 4 stack of feeders (10+ lives in the first 8 minutes) who do not speak a single word or can't even identify the letters of any language the pro(s) speak and see if they can handle it. This is literally every game as of late on the American/South American servers and we're too far to play on EU or Asian servers without some pretty bad latency. The supposed-elite always say that its easy or something they just don't deal with like the lowbies, but none of them will prove it. The hypocrisy is so thick you couldn't cut it with a 5-times-tampered steel katana.

*Edit* Even with the test shown on Reddit, the conditions I described are not present at all in the amounts necessary in every game. Randomly laddering does not produce the scenario consistently where you are faced with what lower players call an "unwinnable" situation where the feeding was simply too much. If every game doesn't have the 10 lives in 8 minutes level of feeding to their main carry so he's 5-6 levels ahead of everybody AND 2x 3-4 stacks that don't remotely speak anything the higher MMR player does, your tests and examples are completely meaningless. Essentially what happened here was I described a triangle and people gave me squares and went "HAH! SEE?!" as if they were right, not realizing how very wrong they were.

How do you think arteezy got to like 6.7K solo mmr? He was given like sub-4K teammates on occasion just to balance out his absurdly high mmr and still managed to haul his own ass up there solo.

He went level 1 teleport and jungled the dire medium camp with tangos and a quelling blade. Did not get a single level in treants until level 10, and bought a magic stick and boots before any other item in his inventory.
