Let me tell you about these two chucklefucks. My 2800 Ranked matches are a delight compared to the people you find in Single Draft or, as I call it, No Support Mode. Ancient Apparition buys headdress first, follows me, Timbersaw, to offlane despite saying to do a trilane. Starts autoattacking the creeps like it's his job. I ping, I ask him repeatedly to stop attacking the creeps. I think he understands because he half heartedly harasses the enemy heroes. Before too long though he's back at it. I yell some more. A few minutes into the game he disconnects. Thank god. (More later.)
Chucklefuck #2 is a Kotl. Now 80% of the time Kotls are shitbags because they think it's their jobs to push the lanes like crazy and are next to useless in teamfights. This one was no exception: He would blast down all the waves as I came up to try to farm. I told him to stop, I pinged. I followed him from bot lane to mid lane and tried to get whatever I could as he blasted down waves in my face. Of course he didn't buy wards either.
20 mins later AA comes back and proceeds to walk around the map aimlessly and die repeatedly. But we win because my 3 stack is good. I looked up the AA and he had 9 commends so this wasn't his first game. This one of my real problems with the language issues (and people who insist it isn't a problem). Not only can it ruin that game, but the players just don't get any better. Those two players didn't learn a damn thing from that game despite making game-ruining mistakes had the teams been equal.

Tried to play support recently. My winrate got a bit better, but I just don't find playing support fun. So, i'm coming back to only pick hard carries regardless of the situation.
Well, you can imagine that's bad. Im the king of guy who last pick Faceless Void when the team needs a support, because I just want to have fun with my unraked games last hitting all day long. So, 5 carries team are pretty normal for me and since my MMr fell below 2800 its pretty hard to find support players.
So, here's the problem. If you don't have farm 15 minutes in the game, your team think its your fault. Even if you're a TB laning with a Gyrocopter. And if you have farm, they will call you useless for farming all day long. Which most of the times its my case, since I don't find carries who try to get early kills (Drow, Riki, BH and such) fun to play. I like to pick afk farming hard carries like AM (my most played hero), FV, or a passive PA, TB, PL and so.
People complains if you farm. But you need to farm! I can get a BF by 11 minutes if I have a trilane with AM. Though its certainly not amazing, I think its pretty fine for a below 3000 MMR pub game. Only if people picked more supports. D:
So, history of the day: played Sven laning with a Wraith King against a KotL Gondar lane. We fed and lost. My team got mad at me for going Battlefury. Wraith King bought a courier by 9 minutes and Prophet upgraded it by the 20 minute mark. We lost a set of racks because I was too greedy to buyback. :C
I'm just commending every Crystal Maiden picker.

You're at 2800, I seriously doubt you can farm a battlefury in 11 minutes. That's been done a total of 50 times in pro dota. Also consider that people there don't know how to tri-lane effectively, and their farming efficiency is no where near a pro level, I just don't believe you at all.

I have friends at around his rating, the first thought that comes to mind when I see someone around the high 2k or low 3k rating isn't necessarily that they're bad at farming and if your given a free lane a 11 minute Battlefury doesn't seem out of reach.

Not rly true though. I have a pretty high winrate, 70% or so with soloqueue wisp and I don't talk much.

Am i the only one who always feels carrys like Am, Void, Pa are really useless in like 95%+ of the games. Whenever someone picks a carry like that I'm really confident that the team that doesn't have them will win. Pa especially, that hero does nothing and still it's in the top 15 most played heroes just because the numbers it hits has a 15% chance of being red.
Fortunatly though, I don't get that many of those heroes in my game.

i can believe, mass feed from the enemy laners. definitely possible at low mmr.

in this MMR if you win as the AFK farming carry (AM and the likes) its because your team won 4v5 , otherwise you get rolled because no matter what , just farming isnt enough against the other team who farms heroes , AM wont carry such game.
Thats why the very hard carries are useless in low rating pubs , but are still fun to play  .
simple scenario -> you AFK farm , your team is being pushed (or picked off) , instead of delaying or split pushing or giving up the tower , they defend without you and die , this will happen more times then not.

Okay I played a game today with a 2 person stack on my team as Furion and Invoker.
As soon as the game started, Furion typed "I'll be bach" and then TP'd directly into the enemy fountain. He did this several times. This is the most creative way to feed I've ever seen.
Then after feeding like 8-9 times or so by seemingly right clicking into their fountain and just running across the map, invoker started camping our fountain and just sending out fire elementals. All game.
This game ended in 21 minutes with a score of 55 to 11. Their riki was so fed I could literally not leave the fountain or I would die, regardless of wards or towers.
The most amazing part of that game was that we got 11 kills somehow.

Why are you expecting two random people to trilane with one of your guys when you have a 3-stack?

Dunno about that. I'm 13-8 on Void which isn't too bad. Hardest part is working out how the game is going to play out and therefore which build to go for (MoM, Battlefury or Maelstrom). Make the correct decision and you can just win the game. Although I'd agree with AM; he just seems too inflexible for pubs.
I find PA to be a special case because its one of those heroes for me (along with Puck) where my team just seems to completely lose their brain when I pick it. I lost a game yesterday as PA (15-9-15) whilst our jungling Doom went 2-16-10 and our mid Tinker went 3-11-9 after losing mid hard to a Sniper (who, of course, went 26-8-9). Didn't really help that at 25 minutes our Timber starts going "GG ITS OVER WE CAN'T OUT CARRY" because Sniper was a bit fed.
