Well, just encountered Ranked Rager Guy. It's kind of crazy how determined some people are to both suck at dota and prove that their team sucks instead.
Started out okay, he's taken LC, is talking on voice, coordinating his lane with a CM. They get a couple kills, all good. About ten mins in a gank goes bad and he dies. CM chose to run rather than die with him and he tells her off. Starts to become clear that we've got a problem. Talks for a good minute about what she did wrong and has that kind of edge in his voice that makes me wonder.
My fears are realised as soon as we're into midgame, when literally everything that goes wrong - prophet getting ganked, voker missing an SS, me missing a clock hook, literally anything - begins to trigger about a two-minute-long tirade. Eventually CM mutes him, the rest of us are slower on the uptake.
Obviously, LC himself is like 1-6-1 or something at this point, while the rest of us are solidly positive despite our apparently game-losing mistakes.
Also, this poor CM. She was solo warding almost the entire game, was friendly and helpful. She was a bit slow to TP and was a bit too afk while getting to mek, but, like, nothing serious. Constantly had detection on her for their shadowblades, actively counterwarding. And she just copped it over and over and over because I think she stole a jungle creep from him once or something. To her credit, she kept warding to the end of the game. I would have snapped and gone midas dagon long ago.
Game goes on, it's actually pretty close and would have been fun if not for this guy. I don't mute him because I'd still rather know what he's doing. Back and forwards, we lose our lead, get it back again, lose it again. We get a good teamfight and are looking at a couple towers, things are looking up. Unfortunately voker ghostwalks the wrong way out of the engagement, gets stuck and dies to their remaining heroes.
LC just totally loses it, rages for like five minutes straight. Voker respawns and stands in base or jungles or whatever while typing at this guy, and then just abandons. So now we're 4v5 and the game is gone, because this dude won't shut his mouth.
He actually had a self critical revelation about halfway through, which was: "It's my fault, really, guys. I shouldn't expect coordination from a pub team, you're all just solo queue scrubs. It's my fault. I'm sorry, I was assuming you wouldn't suck ass." Dead serious, straight face, as if it was a concession, while sitting on the worst scoreboard on the team.
At that point all I could do is laugh. I kept him unmuted all the way to the bitter end, mostly out of curiousity.

Dont just argue for the sake of arguing. If you actually read my post, read what i wrote, think about what it means and read the circumstances I specify for when Agh is great, you'll most likely agree with me all the way through. You should anyway because thats how it is.
And after that go play some ogre and enjoy winning teamfights for your team because you sometimes shave off 75% of the enemy carries HP with 2 spells while simultaneously keeping him stunned for some ~4sec! =)

I was confused at the "stunt" bit for a good 30 seconds. Apparently I'm really dumb :D
Anyways, if you're looking at the Ogre Magi in the context of a position 4 support, an Aghanims, while being a good item, is an item that requires ~5000 gold of items in addition to itself in order to fully be worth the investment. At somewhere around 300gpm, this means you're spending around 35 minutes of your income on something that, sure, is good, but is also quite probably somewhat redundant, team-wise. As a position 4 support your role isn't "Be super relevant lategame", it's "Help your team make space to take objectives or make room for your more important roles to farm their timings or slow their shit down"
If you're playing Ogre Magi in a farming role, then sure hitting an aghas + bloodstone or something timing is reasonable (maybe?), but the whole point was that in a supportive role that timing is waaay too late to be effective, and you're foregoing supportive items in order to make space for your uber items then that's actually really bad for your team overall.

Doesnt matter. 2 stuns and a slow will eat my manapool like a lycan and i will need salves alot:D I cant sustain roaming or setting up ganks, because i tp back to fountain and have to walk 40 seconds after. Waste of gold and time, especially time is important, i will be less effective and my team will be 4v5 most of the time. Manaboot, Urn, Forcestaff or Bloodstone and then maybe a aghs is easier for me to execute ganks, tanking some damage and to not stop doing that! Ogre means pressure!

What everyone above said.
You need Aghas + an item before Aghas is truly worthwhile. If you spend your first 14 minutes of income getting an aghas, you've got literally nothing else and don't have -that- strong a timing created from your expensive item.
I also meant get boots -> bloodstone -> aghas for your 35 minutes of 300gpm, but again this is entirely unacceptable for a position 4 support IN ADDITION TO being items that don't have strong timings individually. You don't get bloodstone and go "Yeah now I can X better!", and you don't get aghas and say "Yes, this is a totally effective ganking and teamfighting item" UNTIL you also have your bloodstone to support your mana requirements.
Yeah. Supportive hero in supportive role buys supportive items, not entirely selfish items such as bloodstone and aghas.

Guys you should move it to "General Discussion" / the Strategy subforum.
MyQQ: Just a simple losing streak. I mean ranked losing streak.

Oh you can't land a hook on a stationary hero? DON'T PICK FUCKING PUDGE IN RANKED. Oh, you're playing Furion? Why would you build a 50minute Dagon 1, after going Deso/Skadi(?!?!)/Vlads(!?!?!)/Arcane Boots(?!?!). I mean how retarded can you be? Not to mention this idiot couldn't land a Sprout (A fucking sprout!!!!) to save his life.
~ Oh, and finally you think Wards and Dust are "Pussy" items? DON'T PICK A FUCKING SUPPORT.
Seriously I QQ'd about this exact same issue in a different game recently, but this time I was a Bounty who went well on the offlane, was about 3-0 in 10mins and I bought LITERALLY every ward. LITERALLY every dust. For the next 50 minutes.
I'm sick of it, not even joking I don't know why these people are in Ranked, and furthermore I don't know why I have to play with them. I just want to get my 10 Ranked matches over with but these imbeciles sure are making it tough.

I don't even get why people play ranked. That's a guaranteed way to ruin any Dota enjoyment you're ever going to have, and it's not like that number it spits out actually means anything either

According to some people I've seen commenting its apparently because "must have ranked mode but can't split the player pool further".
Damn stupid idea honestly. All that crying for ranked has just wrecked the thing that made solo queue viable. :-\
Can you tell I'm annoyed at the loss of solo queue only? Because I am. >

Playing my ranked games. I encounter a Riki who is an invisibility = invulnerability dumbass. We're standing idly mid for no god damn reason. As a support, I prefer to buy time at the towers while the carries go and farm. Nope - carries decide to stand there idly as well. So I go bot, riki dives in 1v5, dies. Team does the same. gg, games over. Same game a Russian invoker. Demands a swap - are you retarded? REPICK. Enters game. Can't do shit - goes offlane. I'm 0 0 4 with CM this game then I just left as Invoker abandoned. I am pretty pissed and argue.
Another game - hey let's stand low ground where we have a disadvantage instead of high ground. Also, you're all bottom with a tower and trying to defend. You complain when I'm gyrocopter farming at top - I could have easily teleported bottom if you force the other team to dive the tower - nope, you dive their tower and get killed, then complain that I'm not helping the team. I don't get to farm this game because Legion Commander, Phantom Assassin, Axe and Lich contest it - what's even more annoying is I picked gyro after the lich pick, then three more cores pick. PA and Axe feed a fuck load along with LC. Lich and I die 4 times each... these guys 10+ deaths... LC says "fine I'll support" and then proceeds to take my last hits. Genius. So being underfarmed, aquila and drums into BKB on time and manage to win team fights and shit.
Also team fighting. Why are people retarded? If you're Doom your priority is to doom that fucker who has an ultimate - e.g. Warlock, Lich etc. Nope. Doom the first person you see or not at all and die.
If this is ranked MM after I get my MMR I'm going to be real pissed.

The whole ranked system is the reason I stopped playing Starcraft: when the entire point of the game is to be hyper competitive and to attach meaning to every match, you just get unnecessarily mad every time you lose. + Show Spoiler +And yes I know they added unranked but it still revolves around what you perceive your MMR and what league you're in

It revolves around what ever you/your brain chooses it to revolve around. Some people played custom/team games in Starcraft, there is nothing stopping your from enjoying unranked in Dota like before.
