I certainly feel like a stack is the way to go at least for the first few games, at least until your mmr is higher and the people have basic knowledge of the games.
Need to actually find a stack though.

Just played a game where one player disconnected on my team. So then 3 people left on the other team. Would have been an easy 4v2 but do you know what my team does? They all leave, leaving me and an under farmed anti mage to take on a rubbick and farmed alchemist. If my stupid team mates just stayed in the game, we would have won easily. WTF IS WRONG WITH SOME PEOPLE?!

They don't want to play stupid 4on5's?

I saw the words feed train I got excited thinking that your screen shot will make me feel better. How dare you, this was nothing! About a normal pub game. Just had a 1-17 drow on my team. Ill take any of your teammates over that shit cause it was actually a close game. That's right, with 1-17-x drow we had a shot at wining the game
On a serious note, I don't see anyone straight up feeding on your ss. For me if kills + assists > deaths, that person may be playing poorly but i won't consider him/her a bad feeder. Axe was the worst one, and somehow he got AC (though i'd imagine blade mail woulda been better vs pa). My guess is he initiated with blink and died a lot, which isn't sorta understandable
Now if you get 1-17-10 (if that on assists) drow, or maybe 0-8-1 jakiro by ten minutes, you can talk about feed train

I had a BH on my team that not only took safelane with a quelling blade, forcing AM to go solo offlane, but then went 0-19-3. THAT'S a feed train.

^ wait wait, i had... nm I don't think i've ever seen something like that on a safe lane. My condolences

6 game lose streak on Solo Queue..Fuck These Retards...Puck going around without boots for 11 minutes and tells me to shut up when I ask him to Buy his fucking boots

Oh also, I think a few pages back I read about: 20% of the time you're the best player, 20% of the time you're the worst one, and the rest ranks 2-3-4. I think while this makes sense statistically, it's not true for a lot of TL people. I am by no means very good at this game, but If you care enough to read dota forums or watch pro games and so on, odds are you will skew the distribution somewhat, to where, maybe, you might be the worst only 10% of the time instead of 20. It's scary how many ppl I see with 500+ games that don't know how to stack before they pull for example. I knew that before my 20th dota2 game iirc. Or auto attack which I haven't done after game 1, etc
When I play on very high the numbers change a lot against me though. Makes me feel bad But overall I don't think Im the worst player in more 10% of my games, unless I'm just playing below my standards. Im sure same applies to a lot of guys here
Btw don't forget to people that might be good but flame or talk shit all game after 1 mistake by a random teammate and ruin any chance at teamwork your side had. These are the worst, and imo if you play well but your bitching destroys your team's spirit you are the dumbest/worst player on the team because you added more damage on top of the damage of the mistakes you are bitching about.
p.s. Fuck smurfers that just do it for pubstomping. Tried to get my brother into dota 2, created a smurf and picked support on purpose to babysit him & minimize my impact, only to run into a bunch of smurfers that beat us. Sucks cause he didn't enjoy that game at all, and i honestly feel that if i went carry we could have won... they weren't that good... but that wasn't the point of the game. Funny thing was is that I asked them why they are smurfing, there was no response, but as soon as i abandoned (which i rarely do but fuck that) they began talking in all chat about reporting me in perfect English (could see it on his screen). It was kinda cute when one of the guys was talking about how good he is. If you are that skilled, why did you have to resort to smutf-stomping? p.s.s. fuck summer vacations as well, game quality declined badly in June

No more dota for me until that disconnect bug is fixed.

That's wrong.
I'll be the first to get annoyed at people for trotting out Dunning-Kruger and pretending they're psychologists, but you are actually wrong about the way that the MM works. By definition, 20/60/20 is what you will get if you play enough games. The only exceptions are where you're playing in a range that bumps up against one end or the other of the MMR spectrum.
That has nothing to do with whether or not someone is from TL. The key is how you define "best/worst". It's probably reasonable to assume that people from TL are smarter than their allies more than 20% of the time, but that doesn't always equate to being better, because they are still at the same MMR. Therefore, if they're smarter, they must be comparatively worse at some other aspect of play.
Basically, if there's a really dumb player at your MMR, he must be doing something else better than you to make up for his not knowing how to pull.

Belisaurius is correct. Unless you're so good that the matchmaking system has trouble finding players better than you (or you're so bad that the reverse is true), basically the matchmaking grabs 5 players of around your skill level.

Drives me crazy when people think Necro is a support. Makes me want to facepalm.
That being said Mek is a really good core item on a carry Necro so...still some real QQ in there.
Edit:

I'd add a caveat to that though. In that its only true if you're finding games in a timely manner. If your queues are beyond about 5-8 minutes then you're just going to get virtually any matchmaking composition that the system can put together.

I'm not sure, imagine you are in the dead middle of the MMR ladder. If the game picked completely random teammates you would still have a 20/60/20 chance of being best/middle/worst player. As your MMR increases, your chance of being the best player would increase slightly, but the matchmaking system is biased towards balancing the team out so I'd be surprised if the ratios changed by more than a few percent even with long wait times (unless you're right near the top or bottom of the skill ladder as Blazinghand said).
My QQ: I can't play Sven well. I've never seen anyone play him well in a pub game either. He just seems too hard to get going. Every time I see him get picked I know he's going to end with something like 2-7-2 KDA.
It's like he needs to spend the first 30 minutes farming un-harrassed before he can come online? I have a nice strange sword for him as well which makes it even worse for me because I want to play him

If your skill level is rapidly improving, I imagine your rating could lag behind your actual skill level, which might temporarily lead to being matched with people mostly less skilled than you. In the long run, though, the distribution should even out.

You can get kills with just power treads and drums, again with a bit of support and depending who you're facing. And after BKB, unless they have disables that go through bkb, which will slow you down a bit, then the fun begins. Some people get blink too, just to have more target time. You can alternatively try with a MoM but I find it makes me too squishy or maybe I'm doing it wrong. I prefer an armlet to MoM. It's not hard hero to play imo, if you have team composition that keeps the enemy clump up, they'll get cleaved to death. That at least works for me, not always but hey can't win every game.

I tend to play super hard carries with a little bit of frequency, and tbh, if I were to pick one, I'd probably want to last pick it just so I could see the opposing team first. It's pretty easy for a team to brutally counterpick a first pick void or AM, just make an offlane that will make them miserable and slow their farm down to a crawl. If I see a team that I think I can farm safely against without any problems, then sure, I'll last pick a hard carry.

and the trend continues....only brainless people in my team can somebody explain to me how you can lose a dual lane against a lonedruid that lost his first bear after 30 seconds?

Winning isn't everything. I imagine they were eager to play DOTA, not 'Win Simulator'.

It wasn't a fair match, so basically it wasn't a match at all, may as well leave.

I don't think I've played a game this week where the majority of my team has spoken English. All I get is a million pings around the map going off every second.
Also doesn't help that half of my games end up with someone leaving within the first 10 minutes.
