You can instantly kill MOST squishy heroes if not all instantly during the mid game. I don't know why people saying its gimmicky when its such a cheap item. Thirst is not an escape skill what the? If a hero is chasing me and I'm dying, i force staff away and they usually won't catch up, this is true for all heroes not just BS. Force staff is amazing utility item and the fact that you say it doesn't synergize with his skillset is ironic because his force staff GIVES damage to his ulti, how is that not synergy? The fact that you will be making most of your kills through your ulti, it is a good item. You also say that you lose 2-3 hits is also false. Once you force staff that player he will most likely be in thirst range giving you massive movespeed anyways for you to catch up to him. If he isn't well he probably won't die anyways because any good player that gets ruptured and is still at around 60-70% health WON't move and instead just hold position, force staff counters this.
Just farm 650 more and have shadow blade by level 7 instead.

Random draft, first guy of course afk, randoms undying and cries for swap (wtf, best hero?) so I give him my magnus, almost smelling that he will fuck up badly but to my surprise he actually makes some early game moves work. Needless to say we're up against pretty much 5 carries.
Our jungle lifestealer calls out idiots for not sending gyro, but magnus mid! - Already smelling pro LS.
Our kotl dies first blood to bounty on safelane which is np, but lifestealer already calling out that kotl is noob -_-.
My gyro on hardlane maxes out Q and W first and goes Aghs support gyro without flak cannon, missing on half of the lasthits which i gladly take to atleast stay a useful factor as soon as i get my bloodstone (atm i am maxing out tombstone first while only having 1 level in Q and W just for the strong pushing power and the confusion it causes on my hapless low-mmr enemies, most times just 1maning teamfights with it). Of course he wasn't able to score a single kill on jugger and antimage who had pretty much no strength left.
Still the game is going decently, besides magnus going power treads and still going initiator build with dagger and i manage to get my pretty early BLOODSTONE (Powertreads Magnus already calling me a noob "BLOODSTONE ON UNDYING NEW META" in public chat XD. Here was pretty much the point where i just started following our ls around and stealing his lasthits in jungle (yeah, he didn't really know what lasthits are)
Our crying lifestealer manages to FREEFARM a hand of midas+treads+armlet in 30minutes while crying and never being in a fight, so after 25minutes of 4v5ing (not like kotl was a factor) I just give up because of the endless chat abuse coming from inside my team. Somehow I want this to end by just playing good heroes and going back to high mmr (I was there after my first 100 dota games because of playing prophet and being good at minimap awareness and pretty much action) but on the other hand it feels shit to only play like nyx and troll and 1man bash noobs like me.

I played a game with a Skywrath Mage who, at thirty minutes, had Boots of Speed and Magic Wand. I asked him in chat if he was new to the game and he said this was his first time playing online. Fine. I had a Drow who was bitching in chat that all he ever does is loses, and saying Skywrath should uninstall if he was that bad. So, Skywrath decided to start criticizing Enigma saying that he pushed the top lane. It was a mess, and I feel like because Drow was being such a jerk, the genuine advice I was giving Skywrath (Like to go farm the jungle if you get that far behind and to play very cautiously) fell on deaf ears because he felt like he was being attacked.

I don't want to make it sound as if I'm attacking you, but you should definitely put some things into perspective and review this post after you've cooled off. BS isn't that good on Undying and from how it looks like LS and Magnus both played semi-well and you didn't really make an effort to contribute by stealing LS's farm.
Also, if you're gonna buy a bloodstone, disassemble your Mana boots. You don't need them once you have BS, and it saves you 1000 gold.

I know what you mean. Getting a bloodstone on undying simply works at my level and it actually can be the best item to get if i turn into some kind of semi-carry with undying, which happened so far in nearly every game. It's because most players don't know the hero, so i am playing it accordingly. I actually LOVE playing underfarmed support and staying useful, but most time my lane partner simply won't be able to get the last hits, so the only thing left to do is get the ones he doesn't take myself and end up with a semi-farmed support after the early game. Of course i disassemble them for the bs, it's just luxurious to still get arcane boots afterward and keep supporting my team with them+ having the movespeed.
I said magnus played semi well, until he started flaming 3 players of our team for being noob (like lifestealer flaming kotl at the beginning). To put this into perspective:
Lifestealer went jungling and left kotl alone on bottom lane, then complained about ("fucking noob blabla") kotl getting 2maned including a bounty with orb and calling gg.
Powertreads magnus got his kills in the fights i initiated and kept going with the tombstone. He started off nice and then dropped. He was the guy who cried about randoming undying because he wasn't paying attention in the picking phase and i even swapped my magnus for him.

So we're pushing their T3 while our mid Viper is ''splitpushing mid" while their Magina and Pudge are taking our top T1 and T2 for free.
The towers were for free because 2 supports, an Axe and a NS cant exactly take the T3 on their own against an ES,Mag and WR,so we were waiting for our ''carry'' to come and 5 man it safely.
Nope, you see he is SPLITPUSHING with a fucking hero that has no CC, no way to push out creeps fast and no way to bring down towers fast.
Meanwhile, Pudge and Magina TP back, the ''splitpushing'' retard gets hooked, I'm like ''down's syndrome is a helluva drug" and TP back to base because I knew whats gonna happen next.
Naturally the idiots who insisted on staying around the T3 got mopped.

Meanwhile I afk in the jungle (like a true gent should after asking for ff) and promptly wished Viper to enjoy the tender rear lovin' of Magina.

Playing supports is just damn brutal though, nothing like seeing the enemy underfarmed carry get his core items around the 40 minute mark and mop your asses, while your dumb as fuck carries that you babysat for the entire game cant farm for shit, let alone push when they should, TP when they should, retreat when they should.....
I'm not saying I'm a perfect carry player, but when I get babysat in safelane and when there are agressive wards for literally the entire game I tend to make the best of it.
And when I'm a shitty joke carry against an agi carry that can go turbo rice mode and 1v5 our team in the lategame I dont fuck around and wait for that to happen....

Some self QQ. Played probably my worst game in months. I was tide and somehow managed to die like 18 times in a not too long game. I don't know what happened really, I usually play pretty careful and don't make too many bad plays in one game, this game was just awful though. Feel bad for my teammates, stuff like that shouldn't happen.

Just having the worst game of my life atm as tiny, 0 - 5 12min in, lane partner is 0 - 6, getting absolutely destroyed. Like 5 levels behind enemy team now, fml.
edit: Finished 1 - 10 fuck yeah. Grand score like 12 - 40. Nobody on my team being a real idiot or anything, just enemy team was like 800x better. Smurfs or something, was so bad it was funny.

Seems like if you get a few wins in a row with the same hero you should stick with it. I always get my huge win streaks when I play the same hero over and over. The second I start to change the losses come tumbling in.

I just got an abandonment after sitting in our base to defend a 30% ancient from a Shadow Blade snipe. We ended up winning in the end (was an 80 minute game), but the game doesn't give a shit.
I have no idea how that system works. I was moving around, talking ingame, and warding the base. What does it expect me to do, throw a game to prove I'm not afk? :/

It's supposed to be related to experience gain, I think? If you get no experience in five minutes or something, you get an abandon.
I agree the system sucks a bit and could use refinement. That example kinda sucks for you
