But seriously - QQ that Valve are wasting their time on this shit instead of putting every able bodied employee on HL3. It would be a much more worthy project. just curious y do u think its badly designed

No, you're just looking for excuses. People like you make me QQ. They're bad but refuse to look for the fault in themselves, instead they blame the game. Using big words such as "very clear" (without any actual reasoning) and calling people "amateurs" (because they themselves clearly have perfect knowledge of game-design). Dota is not a badly designed game, that's why it's been incredibly popular for years, built a huge fandom and produced an absolutely great competitive scene. Bad games simply die out, Dota did not. Get over yourself. Also 8 games loss streaks just happen. And thinking that you know anything after "800+" games is probably even more laughable than the rest of what you've said. Unless you have played this game on a professional level you're not in a position to criticise it. Simple. Another group of people that make me QQ are the absolute scrubs who can't even lasthit, yet they insist on acting like they are trying to understand the game on some deeply strategic level, playing CM, insisting on trilaning (without knowing how to pull or keep a lane stale), asking complex questions on forums and most importantly, getting offended when someone tells them to stop worrying about this crap and just focus on map awareness or lasthitting. Case in point: one of the recent threads in the Strategy section.

Anyways QQ. Team always overcommit or go around scouting alone and get picked by other team 5 man doto. Our clinkz is always solo pushing despite the fact that we can't win fight without him. Supports position in the front and gets mana leaked all the damn time. Quesionable build by me since I haven't played in a while and don't really play QoP much.. still people rushing in just because they can.. What grinds my gear is the fact that they have to put down/rage at people who are not in the same mindset as them. Meh. Troublesome people to deal with. I just usually ignore or laugh at them.

And the next game, I end up in the same game as him, but this time we're enemies. I told my teammates about this guys and that we had to win no matter what and they were positive about it. He picked meepo again, we got fb, everything went well. Except that our Sven disconnected before game started so the game was safe to leave and no stats recorded...no revenge for me ![]() EDIT: He ended up in the opposite team again! :D Sweet revenge here I come!

Case in point: one of the recent threads in the Strategy section. "very clear" is considered "big words" to you? For anyone who has played portal/portal2 with commentary on - just look at how much stuff Valve cut/altered because it was confusing to new players.. now contrast that to the new player experience for Dota2. I'm calling the people who made Dota amateurs, because they clearly, demonstrably were. "Unless you have played this game on a professional level you're not in a position to criticise it. Simple." What a silly thing to say. Of course I can criticize it, based on my experience. If a game still comes off as obtuse and opaque after 500 or more hours of playing it, it is obviously too complex for its own good. The fact that the game is supposed to be played at the pro level and only really works there, but completely and utterly falls apart at the pub level is another gigantic problem with the game.

Keep in mind the game (speaking dota 2, dota itself is a mod!!) is still in beta and the tutorial system is not established. Valve is aware of the problem, that people completely new to the game need to be introduced to the concept of roles etc. That you have to put some effort into understanding it, doesn't mean the design is flawed. Having to play >500hours and still not know everything? That is called a skillcap, created not only through mechanics.

If you have something to say to me, you can as well send me an MP ^^ Additionnaly I think you did not understand parts of what I wrote (but that's probably my fault). Would be happy to discuss that further in private if you feel like it. That was my QQ ^_^

So you're claiming the game is poorly designed because it's not easy enough to learn? You should probably just say "I dislike this game because I'm bad at it" rather than pretending your struggles are caused by flaws in the game itself. QQ: Can people stop thinking that playing poorly is reportable? I swear every second game at least one person from the losing team glances at everyone's KDA and demands the player with the worst KDA be reported, as if having a bad game means someone deserves low priority.

Because of lifestealer going top with disruptor instead of bot where he could have free farm. And Invoker going mid and has shit farm. Instead I have to go bot as magnus with medusa. Fuck my life. Really. And no, meepo wasn't better this time...our team was just terrible...so mad right now.
