can't play carry because it's boring as shit I need to go back to sc2 in other news, Undying is seriously fun as hell, loved playing as him so much holy shit Keeper of the Light is a bad, bad hero and I see no reason why I would ever play him again. I'd rather play Meepo than play KotL again. | ||

Eventually opponent gets sloppy, loses a few teamfights in series and we flat out rush down their throne. So a win, but easily the most painful one I've ever experienced. Absolute agony to play out. Game 2 - KotL immediately drops as soon as game starts and abandons. Everyone leaves right there. Game 3 - I'm Jakiro bottom supporting a Void. Stacking creep camp and pulling. Harrassing their Shadow Shaman away from the lane (suicide solo, they had a jungling NP). All that good stuff. Shadow Demon and Windrunner top feed a bit. Shadow Fiend loses mid HARD to Silencer, overextends all the time and spends the rest of the game bitching about how nobody helped him. Of course a loss. Game 4 - Sven. Beastmaster, Nature's Prophet, Omniknight, Bane. Bane mid. Beast immediately runs top with NP. I'm left with Omniknight support in suicide lane vs Death Prophet and Antimage. Omniknight constantly pushes lane, and steals most of my farm as well as constantly leaving me behind to die. I get absolutely no farm. Everyone feed the hell out of their mid Pudge. Top can't cope with a Lion/Lina lane. Basically GG after about five to ten minutes but game drags out until the 45 minute mark. Pretty sure their AM didn't know wtf he was doing and STILL we got beat down (Vlads before Battlefury into...I think he was building a Heart, no Manta). This is genuinely getting painful...utterly unplayable with this MM system. Looks like a solid day of dota2!!! :D | ||

I'd rather play Meepo than play KotL again. If you're playing against a heavy push team, he's a good anti-push hero. He does well in tri-lanes due to illuminate and chakra also. Those are his uses. If you aren't using him for one of those 2 reasons, he generally shouldn't be picked. Hes a very heavy "niche" type hero. | ||

My team was Rubick, Jaikro(me), alchemist, invoker, and pa turns out the pa was in a previous match with the invoker and the two started to flame each other saying "he was noob" The rubick was also in a previous match with the alchemist and said, "a farm whore who can't play" Pa has no map awareness and dies, invoker seems to love ganking with no mana, Alche afk jungle farm, Rubivk doing good. It's okay because our team has the advantage in the lategame, however invoker seems to have down syndrome and go in 1v5 even after we paused for 5 mins and he had enough time to see the situation. Pa also seems to think she was invincible and goes in 1v5, Alchemist constantly farms and says he has "500 gpm, noobs", does not amount to much in teamfights. However Rubick and I being beastly supports actually manage to have our team win a couple of fights, what happens next? Alche farms jungle, pa and invoker push but then does not back off when the enemy team had respawned and dies..... we could have won, but no, invoker continues to rambo and say pa is bad player. Pa rambos and says invoker is a bad player, alche says 500gpm makes him pro. the whole team collapses and we lose. | ||

I don't want to have to play carries / drow ranger all day just to win, support is my favorite role after all, but if I wanted to play babysit the retard I would volunteer at some preschools. | ||

I'm also like yourself except I play support because I can't play a carry to save my life. Tried alot of practice of last hitting against bots as a carry and I suck lol. Or I get some fucking troll that decides "hey im new instead of doing some god damn research I'll just go what people say to go as when they fucking troll and pick Meepo and suicide and feed all game then rage dc" | ||

We rape early game against BS,Luna,Rubick,Tide and Sniper. By the 30th minute we're already at their mid T3. And this is where we start to get rolled.Turns out Magina thought it would be hilarious lol so edgy exdee to get a blink dagger.Other items were a Vanguard,power treads and a wand. His next big item is a fucking dagon. We get outcarried, because our super hard carry decided he would be that one moron who posts a screenshot of his itembuild on reddit or w/e ''lookit me guys no one ever did this b4! XDDDDD'' What could've been a 30 minute win turned into a 60 minute loss I am so mad right now....fuck this piece of shit.You do your fucking best only to realize some fucking asshole has been dicking around during the entire game. | ||

I love playing Support too. Warm fuzzy feeling when you got a good player on a carry to babysit and then see them dominating lategame. But yeah...relying on pub carries is just pure agony. I'm honestly thinking I should switch back to allpick and just play a soft carry like Mirana or something every single game to try to bump MMR up a bit. Its true what they say though...you go on a massive loss streak and then suddenly the system throws you a break. After those four HORRENDOUS games earlier I manage: Game 5 - Razor. Opposing team has a Centaur whose strategy is to repeatedly charge into our team and then sit there in range of static link. So for basically every teamfight I was at maximum damage drained and doing like...300+ damage per hit, killing their entire team repeatedly. This is in spite of having to compete for the entire early game with a Vengeful Spirit whose idea of supporting was "repeatedly attack, steal all the farm and push the lane like crazy". Oh, no courier for the entire game. Game 6 - Juggernaut. Best team I've had in ages. Pretty sure a couple of russians but not complaining this time, these were crazy good. Safe lane with a Windrunner support. She's stacking the camp and pulling it, shackling opponents, harassing them off the line; basically freeing me to farm. I get my wand up fast, then treads, something like a 17 minute battlefury, start getting kills on the enemy team. I build up and up and start snowballing hard. End of the game I'm 26-1. Sceptre/BoT/Butterfly/BKB/Vlads/S&Y. I actually destroyed my Battlefury to get the BKB because I couldn't be bothered selling it. 708 GPM, 800 XPM. Why can't I get that kind of support EVERY game? :-\ | ||

Was no particular pressing need to since opposition was already getting stomped. And frankly I had a morbid curiosity to see if anyone would ever notice and point it out. Suffice to say: they didn't. No matter. | ||

I always say " I am going to make a prediction and if its true then I am sure we will lose" 5 min later.. still no courier.. I point it out and then we will lose... fun times... And always when I get a hard carry... Anyway... finally after being sub 50% win rate for a few weeks, I am nearing the 50% mark again.. its either I am supporting the fuck out of the games or carrying the fuck out of them.. (Provided no ultra feed from other teammates) It seems that if i am ever sub 10 kills or assists, the game will be lost no matter because the feed will be so extreme that I cant do anything at all.. such is the pub life.... so difficult to coordinate esp with people who refuse to communicate.. zero chat whole game.. zero ping.. zero responses to obvious warnings... solo queue for life! | ||
