I randomed zues, then we have two guys pick luna and bloodseeker. They both called mid. I say nothing. I then proceed to go top lane (we were dire). Luna tells me go bottom, (against a pudge and juggernaut on enemy team). I say nothing, still proceed to go top. Luna bitches at me, then lets me solo top while he tries to jungle. I somehow end up owning the lane against slark and lina, they both sucked. Luna now comes and starts taking all CS. I saw her build, hes going 0/4/4/0. Yes, no lucent beam, no ult. I say nothing. Now he starts to die and constantly get picked off by pudge even though we called missing numerous times... I finally snap. I call him out for saying he wanted mid even though he was playing like shit. I berate his build (no tranq, no drums, no lucent beam). And he says nothing back. I know I struck the right chords with him because he stopped speaking. No doubt he was embarrassed that I was calling him out for his shitty build and the fact that he wanted to take mid even though he was now feeding. The rest of the team was aware of his plays and were quiet about it, but I had to just keep rubbing it in his face. I was such a douche. I need to take a step back and watch my attitude towards other players, I always feel crappy after a game when I treat them like theyre dirt. It makes me feel horrible. I probably shouldve politely suggested a better item build, or a better skill build: "you should prolly build drums and tranq boots, movespeed and regen is really good on her, thats my favorite build". Something along those lines. But instead I opted to take the douchebag path and bash him for his shit plays. I feel ashamed of myself and I want to let u know, "Dendi's Mom", that I am sorry. https://dotabuff.com/matches/68300059

The former almost ALWAYS happens when you take a Tier 2 because they're all like "omg the rax are RIGHT THERE!" with the exception being if the team is actually listening to you and gets back when you say b. The latter always seems to happen when nobody can quite work up the courage to actually engage. Not so bad if you're an initiation hero because you can lead the charge yourself. But when you're relying on a ravage or a black hole or something to open...painful.

Once again, he has demonstrated good insight in the video. He's playing a high-level pub and jokingly complained that whenever people see his handle, the enemy would be more try-hard. I didn't watch till the end but he did give constant evaluation of the situation. If the pubs did their job, the advantageous trilane should be pushing well. But apparently, the DK cannot farm and he was the only 'fat' hero on their team. So all the pubs hugged around his hero for protection, which is inefficient when it comes to farm. At one point of time, he gave up on the DK and commented that DK is worthless and should focus on being a support instead.

No matter how good us supports do we still lose because our carries suck at farming... then get burned for "not having a good enough k/d ratio" even though we have more assists than deaths. I'm also like yourself except I play support because I can't play a carry to save my life. Tried alot of practice of last hitting against bots as a carry and I suck lol. Or I get some fucking troll that decides "hey im new instead of doing some god damn research I'll just go what people say to go as when they fucking troll and pick Meepo and suicide and feed all game then rage dc" Dude, honeslty it's absolutely useless to play "traditional" support in normal mmr, and there's still not much sense in it when you get to high. Honestly, you have to carry yourself out of that shit. Hate to say it, but that's generally been my experience. The only way to play support is to play a harcore ganker and just kill shit, because as many people have said, in pubs killing heroes is really the only thing that matters. I've found this changes when you get to very high, though. I've legitimately noticed a difference in the value of supports, despite what people say. They generally win games. Having wards, tp scrolls, good stackers, etc. usually wins, because people *usually* can last hit and farm to at least an acceptable degree, so as long as your team composition isn't full retard, whichever carry gets the best support tends to snowball better. I'm having a helluva time as I've started playing bane now, for example. Teams of randoms just don't have the co-ordination to deal with that dude. But yeah, in normal and high you have to carry.

Not true, even in normal and high supports win games. Of course you might think that you could have played a better carry than the guy that sucked, but if you had picked a carry yourself you would have been raped even harder because you then there would have been even more underfarmed carries. This is also why hard carries have terrible win rates (https://dotabuff.com/heroes/winning) except for drow, but she's just broken.

if you get enough money, you can do anything. I've seen iceiceice play a ganking Lion by getting Blink Dagger really early, blinking on enemy heroes and then chain-stunning/hexing/ulting them. It was silly but effective as hell
