It was silly but effective as hell Gettin a dagger and roaming non stop is one of the best ways to play Lion considering his skillset Anywas, I personally have stopped picking carry heroes for a simple reason - I have to get me a courier, I got to get me wards, then I have to compete for CS and finally there is always this stealthy/skillshot asshole who just waits for you to DPS down whoever you happen to be ganking so he could get the kill. Getting sufficient farm is mission impossible so I enter the midgame with shit items and possibly underleveled. If I decide to just jungle it out, 9/10 games your entire team decides its pushing time so they just end up feeding in 4v5 fights and bitch at you for not sticking with the team. If you get a jungler from the start then the entire team fails to process the idea that they have to stall the game until you have enough to make it out of the jungle so they end up feeding in 4v5 fights or lane ganks again. Fuck this. Not picking a meele carry/initiator every again | ||

Further than that, two and a half years ago solo Lion with a fast blink wasn't just a legit build, it was the only build. After daidai smacked everyone around at ESWC'10, Lion became one of the standard mid heroes, practically hardcountering SF and SS, who were the two most common. Solo blink Lion had a bit of popularity but other heroes, especially Pugna, eclipsed it. | ||

Lion and Rhasta are two heroes that require farm to work in comparaison to cm/venom/sd where it would be great to have farm but doesn't stop them if they don't. | ||
