Every time I see someone else play him, this happens. My friend is in a game right now and has had the same thing. It doesn't even make sense because Naix is perfectly good in a duolane thanks to his slow. The problem is that pubbies believe that Naix is a jungler. While possible, it slows down Lifestealer's mid-game considerably. However, when forced to jungle because of such pubbies that believe Naix is a jungler, a Hand of Midas is CORE - or you just end up underleveled.
But they end up underlevelled anyway.

Hand of midas is by no means mandatory when you jungle as naix imo. A faster armlet is almost always better, it just allows you to have a much greater impact in mid game teamfights. Naix doesnt peak very late into the game and so doesnt really need to invest in midas imo.

I don't even...
SD. Teams: Venge (Me), Leshrac, Ogre, Ursa, Jug vs Sniper, Magnus, Drow, Pugna, Night Stalker
Dire side. Ursa goes Jungle, jug goes top and ogre goes to support. So we got three on top (2 + jungler) to be aggressive whenever they want. Leshrac takes mid. I'm left with suicide solo on Venge despite having bought courier, ok. I guess I could play as a semi-carry/support hybrid. All I have to do is delay them long enough for Jug and Ursa to get farm, right?
I'm up against Magnus/Sniper. Can hardly get any farm because of getting chased out of the lane all the time (yay for insane range) but no big deal, getting good levels from leeching XP from creepwaves by myself. Actually manage to get a kill on sniper really early on but obviously that happy state of affairs wasn't going to last forever; but it didn't need to, just long enough for Jug and Ursa to get farmed.
Story with the other lanes: Drow vs Leshrac in mid. No idea how he did but it seems they had the edge in the lane (IIRC he ended up 1-2 before anyone started rotating in to gank).
Top lane...I don't even...put it this way, they basically got smashed. It was like...8-2 in the opponent's favour after about ten minutes, all of the deaths from toplane. Ogre finished the game (25 mins) with just arcane boots. Ursa never came out of the jungle. No idea what happened with Juggernaut. They must have fed Night Stalker pretty well.
Straight up loss. Nothing I can do. I suicide myself a few times to save teammates but they've just not got the farm to carry.
I like playing support heroes but it just makes you want to tear your hair out when your carries...can't.

Like, how can Jugg and Ogre lose to NS and Pugna? It's basicly first blood, then second blood then third blood. Like, every time ogre stuns pugna pugna dies in half spin.

Having a wonderful night tonight. You know how the games are balanced around the highest person? Love it when YOU'RE the highest person and yet you don't realise until its too late.
My team and enemy team all had about 10-20 wins (maybe up to 30) each except for me (on 91) and one guy on the other team (on 58).
He picks Void.
I pick Lich.
I think you can predict the outcome without me even saying. -_-
Edit: Ok, losses totally worth it. Just decided to open a diretide chest and immediately got a baby rosh.

Pugna can decrepify himself in order to avoid blade fury's physical damage. He's also much, much faster than jugg (320 ms). I honestly can't see pugna NS losing against ogre jugg.

Blade fury dmg should NOT GO thru decrepify (used to be exception with hmm, echo slam and something else, dont remember what now tho), at least it used to not go thru it. My point still stand tho (thats why i wrote half spin), 3 sec's of spin you will usually get + ogre's dmg should be enough to kill poor squishy pugna at level 3 or so.

How do you play... when the AM on your team thinks he is super pro early game ganker and blinks in to die 4 times in 10 minutes........ WHY???????????
How am i stuck playing with imbeciles??? So I am Disruptor and I am the noob because I cant support? Why can't you just not die when you have fuckin blink and just farm like a carry should?!?! So when opponent has a riki and you see rhasta rushing at you for no reason, your first instinct is to stand ground and fight??? Then say disruptor no support?!?!?! I am support to throw down my ulti because you are incompetent!?!?!
So at the end I have better KDA then the noobs on my team and I am bad??? I really dont understand this game. Heroes with escape mechanism but use it to suicide instead. "high" level may not be that high after all.

If you expect me to reply to you be so nice and write in a way i can understand, thank you.
EDIT: Match starts with "why no tank". This will be good.

blade fury doesn't deal damage to ethereal units in dota 1, no idea about dota 2 tho
either way pugna ns shouldn't lose to ogre jugg unless pugna is wayyy out of position
|
rofl @ pugna ns losing to jugg ogre...
what Dead9 said
|
Jugg, Ogre + Ursa on easy lane vs NS and Pugna? Please, just don't make me call you clueless.

Congrats. I cannot fathom how people came to the conclusion that the game has a class called "tank", and that is somehow needed. Is this something from LoL? Or just MMO players not understanding that this is PvP and not a raidboss?
Yes, there are heroes that are "tanky". They have abilities that goes well with more armor and hp, but they are by no means "tanks". Because with the exception of Axe, there is no "aggro" in this game. Thus a "tank" in the correct term would just sit there and be ignored by the enemy team.

I think when pubs say tank they mean "any fat hero that can initiate, cuz I sure fucking can't"

My QQ:
I kinda hate when people just start flaming me in languages I don't understand. Does it really take so much "guts" to come and say that to my face? I mean I would kinda like the feedback so I can, you know, fucking improve at the game but nooooo.... everybody expects me to play a god-level game without me having never heard any word of feedback. I guess that comes from wanting to play 1 or 2 slot (or solo mid) every game.
I mean I have brains but I can't really figure out when I should go for Tranquil Boots -> Soul Ring or Mana boots and Radiance or Linken's after that when playing as Siren when I'm like 30 wins in.
It's not too bad but I'm curious to why. The weird thing is that people tend to shut up when I just tell them "I'm bad, so what?"
Dunno, I'm there to play dota and not there to bitch at others being bad.
