But they didn't - and somehow, someway - we clawed our way back. To the point where we actually won teamfights I still don't know how it happened, but somehow we just won so many teamfights that they lost all their racks. I don't...how, what the fuck happened there | ||

Went in with a 5-stack (though a couple said it was their last game). Right after the game, the party disbanded without saying anything in party chat. QQ. | ||

Unlike in cata, where classes like pally, druid or warri, queued up as tank, while actually playing DD, just because there was the possibility of your class being able to do multiple things, abusing the system etc. | ||

Please don't forget that you can run stuff like push strats, 3 carry strats, 4 protect 1, double-jungle strats, etc etc. There is *no* reason to pidgeonhole completely random people into roles before the picking stage even starts. And as mentioned, heroes can be played different ways. I mean, some pro team ran Mirana support recently. That is the tip of the iceberg of terribleness that is this idea. | ||

You don't need to pigeonhole them into a hero either, just know that if they check that option, which indicates to their team they are willing to play support, and then don't do it, they'll get griefed, reported, and put into low priority most likely. | ||

Honestly, the idea is terrible. As I said, if you feel like everybody only picks carry, then play with people you trust not to, or play CM. This isn't league where you have to run 1 top laner, 1 AD carry bot, 1 support bot, 1 jungler and 1 midlaner. There is far too much flexibility in lineups and in hero roles. I've won plenty of 5-carry games. Sure, it could have worked better, but that isn't the point. It boils down to: If you think somebody should announce they are support BEFORE the game, then feel free to arrange that yourself. Don't ask valve to force it on others. | ||
