Z77A-G41 is well below what you want for overclocking i5-3570k... and that's last generation. As a general motherboard it should be okay. Z77 chipset itself has the stuff you're talking about; it's not like the motherboard itself is contributing much of anything. Actually, when you mean below what I want for overclocking, does that mean I can't overclock at all? or what?

Im in the market for new phone plans/contracts.... the prices are intense now. I pay $32 for 200 min, unlimited after 5, voicemail, caller ID, unlimited texts and 100mb data. not sure if im ready to pay $50 a month.

Fido is pretty decent with their $39 plan (400 minutes, 400MB data, CD & VM, unlimited evenings, unlimited canada). Bring your own device for 10% off and it's ~$35. An additional 10% off if it's a second line.

In games (not in some specific compute scenarios) if you have a PCIe x16 slot, 3.0 speeds make practically no difference over 2.x speeds for a graphics card. Due to a couple of situations, my 770 was on 2.0 x8 for a while, it's actually fine. You're good with 2.0 x8/x16, 3.0 x4/x8/x16. I'd look for native lane of 2.0 x8 or better, though

A Toshiba buyout is basically the only thing that could go well for OCZ at this point.

Some US prices... Looks like Seagate 600 240GB at $130 at TigerDirect. Less with some checkout shenanigans supposedly: http://www.logicbuy.com/deals/seagate-600-series-240gb-ssd/46137.aspx http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=8037062 3TB external USB3 drive for $100 after promo code, maybe useful as backup: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822178117 edit: http://promotions.newegg.com/nepro/13-5789/index.html

What is your current build? i5-3550 CPU, no cooling fan. What is your monitor's native resolution? 1920x1080 Why do you want to upgrade? What do you want to achieve with the upgrade? I want to build around the CPU that I have and save a few $$. Basically a working desktop is the goal. What is your budget? $500 What country will you be buying your parts in? US If you have any brand or retailer preferences, please specify. None Thanks,

How do ppl feel about getting an i7 instead of an i5? with the sales going on it might cost $70 more instead of a usual 100+ Current i5 I have picked out: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CO8TBOW?tag=tealiq-20 no i7 picked out yet..so if its worth it I'm open to suggestions
