(I searched "XSplit audio" and read the R1CH and Gunrun streaming with XSplit guides)
I've been setting up my stream since I got a computer (somewhat) capable of streaming, and I ran in to an issue with my stream audio last night.
Essentially, I was streaming a LoL match while on Vent, and as the match progressed the audio became worse and worse.

That's the VOD of the game. At like ~5 minutes, the game starts and everything works fine (with the exception of me being stupid and leaving my TV audio on in the background). However, at ~18:15 the audio becomes really distorted and hard to listen to. By the end of the game, it's totally unbearable (at like ~47 minutes, for example, it sounds like I'm in a helicopter hangar).
Processor is an i3 2100, upload speed is ~.75mb (both pretty bottom of the barrel when it comes to streaming, I know).
400kbps video bitrate 96000 audio bitrate, format is 44.100 KHz 16 bit stereo
The only thing I can think of is lowering my audio bitrate and/or possibly my LoL settings (was playing with everything maxed and it was sometimes dropping to ~30 FPS).
Thanks for the help!
TL;DR: Click the link. Check the audio at ~5:00, ~18:15 and ~47:00. i3 2100 processor, ~.75 mb upload, 400kbps video bitrate 96000 audio bitrate, format is 44.100 KHz 16 bit stereo.

What audio codec are you using?
Is it fixed if you disable sound with xsplit button (just above scene sources and scene 1-12 thing) and re-enable?

AAC LC codec.
Dunno about the sound disabling, I'll check next time I stream.

crap just wrote up a piece and closed the tab by accident T-T
well just fast writeup then.
1. check if its not a fluke. 2. check if you have a stable connection to the streaming server. 2. check if your maxing out your resources (CPU,RAM,UPLOAD) 2.b if you have a dual monitor setup or you just stream music to test use these nice gadgets http://addgadget.com/ 3. if upload is a problem you should try to altering the presets so your processor compresses the feed more (alot of cpu ussage) 4. good luck

i3 2100
Also, this is a pretty widespread problem that just seems to happen time to time with everybody, does it happen in every test you do?

Alright, just tried it again, once again with a longish LoL game, same thing happened. Everything but my voice through the mic went through the same distortion as last time. So, to the two lovely posters above me, I guess it's not a fluke and it does happen in every test I do.
Will try to keep an eye on my CPU/RAM/upload next time, although I checked with the League launcher and Xsplit open and was only at 21% CPU usage, and I have the pretty standard 4gb RAM, so I don't think that's the problem. Also, I've left like 25% of my upload unused like R1CH recommended, so I don't think it's that either. Maybe it is though. Don't think it'd be connection stability either just because my connection is usually pretty stable and I'm not getting lag spikes or anything.
Thanks for the suggestions so far, everyone!

This is neither a fluke or a setting issue. It is a known issue that is being worked on very hard by everyone at XSplit. You can follow the development of a fix in this thread: http://www.xsplit.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=2106&start=110#p22059. The post I'm linking to also includes a possible fix, but be aware it's an experimental fix - only use it if you know/understand what you're doing.

Thanks for that link, HellGreen, that's the exact problem. I think I'll give that build a try tomorrow.
