I've heard Stealth uses different switches, Brown as opposed to Blues, but I can't find anywhere if the 2013 is Brown or Blue.
Any other differences on these aside from like, the colour they're backlit in? The Tech specs sound similar.
ultimate used blue back lighting - cherry mx blues stealth uses blue back lighting - cherry mx browns 2013 uses green back lighting - cherry mx blues
Blues are tactile and clicky. Browns are tactile, non clicky

Thanks,
So other than the colour it is backlit, is there any difference the Ultimate 2013 over the Ultimate?
If there's no difference, I'd just buy the Ultimate at Bestbuy and save on shipping cost and time.

The differences are so negligble you would be wondering why they even made the 2013 in the first place. Although I would suggest finding a different mechanical keyboard, it is your choice to go with the Razer BWU.
Edit: Anyways I'm thinking about getting keycaps. Although I don't have a single clue about what types there are and the differences between them. Can anyone direct me to a good web page explaining them or care telling about them yourselves? I tried looking on GH but their page for that is still under construction :/

They are in stock in Aus, so you shouldn't have to wait too long. And Rosewill is coming out with a backlit line, no idea of an eta on that though.

Here does a pretty good job. Though I was under the impression that PBT was just better, but I could be wrong.

If you need backlighting and macro keys blackwidow is nearly justifiable.
But if you just need backlighting then imo wait for the Ducky Shine II, you get a better quality keyboard with whatever switch and backlight you want for roughly the same price.
Also, I really enjoyed the beta preview

I've been looking to buy my first Mech keyboard in Canada and today I've noticed NCIX had decided to sell "Cherry" branded keyboards. Currently, it is priced at 59.99 with free shipping but is it worth getting it? I've never heard of that brand or at least it wasnt mentioned in this thread. I dont want some cheaply built keyboard as my first but want Okish to great one as cheap as possible Also, I know this has been mentioned a lot, but which color should I lean toward if I mainly use the keyboard for sc2 and some FPS? It seems there are every color to choose from if I go with Cherry branded board Edit: oh here is an link if you guys want to look at it http://ncix.ca/products/?sku=75697&vpn=G80-3800LSBEU-2&manufacture=Cherry^ It's an black one but you can choose different ones
If you want to get a Cherry board get the G80-3000. It may look bigger and bulkier but its definitely better quality than then G80-3800.

With MX Blues, scandinavian / mac key layout.
Preferably not to expensive, and without a "gaming keyboard" type design.
Any suggestions? Maybe this one: http://www.prisjakt.nu/produkt.php?p=1251179Seems to have gotten decent reviews from what I've seen. Then there's ducky, filco and a couple of other quality brands but then it's almost double the price as well.
Thanks, but that does not have a mac layout does it?
I saw that das keyboard now has a mac version available, but without nordic key caps. But could probably get those separate?
Do any other high quality manufacturer have a mac / scandinavian keyboard with MX blues?

Unfortunatelly I've never looked for mac layouts myself so I don't have that information at the top of my head. It can probably be difficult to find though, you might need to wait for das to release a nordic version.

Thanks for the link Blaec. It looks like I'll look for some thicker PBT caps then for my keyboard.

What does everyone have to say about the zowie celeritas?

Most people would say that it's a very solid keyboard, but the spacebar feels kinda weird.

Leopold doesn't have a numpad, has better quality key caps and comes in cool colours.
They are pretty even, but I would go the Leopold.

Watch this
Blue are far louder than the rest, adding o-rings can make the rest pretty quiet.
