The lenovo on the go series look interesting, the only thing I'm not a fan of is that the processors used by these machines are either the i7-3667U or the i7-5600U. My question is, am I forced to get a weak processor like this on such thin laptops? If so, how will this hold up to dealing with the massive adobe programs such as photoshop/illustrator/perhaps even dreamweaver? edit: also screw laptop tablet hybrids.

+ Show Spoiler + I have two of these fans (stock with case) ![]() there is a LOT of vibration with them running at high speed. Gonna buy some SP120's, they have corners like this: ![]() is that actually much better for anti-vibration? Is there stuff i can do to improve the other fans, other than just replacing them? I have my sp120's now and they don't really vibrate at all (thanks to the crazy rubber mounts that takes 2 hours to gets the screws into properly)~ still wondering if there's a fix for those two other fans, or if i should replace them

One is for integrated graphics, one is for the ethernet, one is for managing wireless, and one is for managing storage.

With a GPU that weak, you should try to sell it and buy a single r9 280 or gtx960 IMO.

Since it's a living room PC, something small and quiet is ideal (something that'd sit on the tv stand/shelf would be a plus). Fanless isn't a requirement, but if it works out that way that's a plus (though if it has a fan it needs to be a quiet one). I've looked into some of the mini cube looking PCs (e.g. Gigabyte Brix), but it seems they all come without things like an OS/RAM/SSD. The price seems like it'd end up getting too high (for what I need it to do) after adding all that in. I'd like to just get something that'll more or less work out of the box (especially something with an OS, since I don't really have any more available). I don't really have a set budget; I'm basically just looking to achieve those original goals cheaply. Where should I go from here?

if your CPU temperatures alone are going up, then that's all that you should need to do - but if the air temperature inside your case is rising a lot, maybe a fan or two for case airflow would help. That might be the case if you have a graphics card that uses lots of power in there
