You're using a really ridiculous DPI level though and probably using mouse acceleration and sens multipliers so it might behave differently, translating sens might not work with enhanced pointer precision if you have it on because the entire sensitivity system then is different (in a bad way)

Thanks though. | ||

Im not using any mouse acceleration, enhanced pointer precision or w/e. Im at 6/11 on settings etc At the equivelant of 4.9k dpi for 1920x1080? ![]() I was going to call it really uncommon, but it actually seems like a lot of people do this. Hmm

I guess, is it bad? I mean like, i feel like im in perfect control of my mouse and all. I only feel limited by own bad movement lol. I hate doing huge movements. edit: When i make an accuracy error while gaming i never feel like "if my mouse was slower i would've done it right."

I guess, is it bad? I mean like, i feel like im in perfect control of my mouse and all. It's just, accuracy and precision are much better at sensitivities that are not insanely high, nobody in fps or osu community for example would dispute that. I would consider 2000dpi on 1920x1080 to be high, though some people might go as far as like 2500-3000. Most of the best mouse users use ~600-1400 on 1920x1080 for 2d edit: When i make an accuracy error while gaming i never feel like "if my mouse was slower i would've done it right." I've only seen that kind of comment made once before by someone with legit 5k dpi, he posted an osu video with a webcam of his mouse movement, and his performance (in terms of cursor movement etc) was so bad that someone beat his score using a laptop trackpad. You just can't do the same type of things with a mouse if you have a sensitivity that is really excessively off either low or high end. This seems to come up a lot on TL ![]()

Honestly i haven't changed my DPI since i changed from an old $10 mouse lol. I play osu a little and have fairly low accuracy errors imo (im awful at timing though lol). This DPI is miles better for me than on the old mouse but i might try lowering it a bit (or maybe not move it at all and play at 1920).

1) i cant host games unless i disable the firewall completely, the follow up problem is i believe when i disable it i dont get 100% full acceess (i believe not all can join me for example, also i dont see many games in joinlist either, some speculating) 2) the latency when i arrives on iccup is around 35 (which is very good) however, in game i have around 270. Its unplayable (not rly but its very boring), this is with lan latency 3) I have tried to open port 6112, tcp and udp. I have windows 7.

And even then, alot of the FPS players consider 800 a bit high. You say you don't like big mouse movements but if you want accuracy you're gonna have to get used to it. i see no way around it unless you're willing to limit yourself at high dps (I guess it's possible but i seriously don't believe in high dpi in games that require accuracy). Edit: typos FPS engines are different, you have multipliers for sens. 800dpi can be 5cm/180 or 50cm/180 in many engines. With no accel or multipliers, on 2d, 5k dpi is 5k dpi, it's kinda absolute. I'd describe sens in fps as cm/180 and sens in 2d as screenWidth/DPI which gives you inches to cross screen lenghwise
