Exaggeration but GTX 570 is a pretty small card, most models are less than 10 inches so there's going to be at least a couple inches free. 600T is way overkill in my opinion but I guess nothing stops you if you like it.

Adding 4GB RAM won't change anything I guess.

I want to completely block a website from accessing my PC, how would I go about that? Currently I have it disabled from running Javascript with NoScript but I don't know if that's enough protection.

![]() Lately I've been having an issue where after being left idle for a long time (between me going to bed and coming back from work) my USB ports seem to go to "sleep". My mouse, keyboard, iPod USB connector, and external hard drive all stop completely (don't have any other devices plugged in). Unplugging and plugging them back in does nothing. Restarting the computer fixes the problem. My monitors and speakers are still completely functional. I've gone through the various power saving options, but none of them look like they would cause this. I can't think of any changes I've made recently to anything, hardware or software. Microsoft Security Essentials and Spybot S&D aren't picking anything up. What gives? Just be aware of that it's quite a large case and that you also can't turn of the white led's while the computer is on. Otherwise is a fine though somewhat overprices case but it's good quality.

Can the website still access my computer but just not be displayed? I want to completely block a website from accessing my PC, how would I go about that? Currently I have it disabled from running Javascript with NoScript but I don't know if that's enough protection. No idea how Norton Internet Security works, but an effective way of blocking a website is by opening the file C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts and adding the following line to the file: 127.0.0.1 www.bad-evil-website.com Where you replace the address by the address of the site you want to block. You can add as many such lines as you want. How does it work? Normally when you connect to a site (via a browser or any other program), the name has to be translated into an IP address. Your computer will ask your provider to do this, unless there site is listed in this 'hosts' file, then it'll just use that value. The value 127.0.0.1 always refers to your own computer, so that means that an attempt to access the blocked site will end up with the computer trying to access itself, giving a standard not-found error message. Note that this only works for a full domain, not for parts of websites. If you only wanted to block, say, the TL forums (www.teamliquid.net/forum) then this method wouldn't work.

You can try to start with a minimal amount of hardware connected/installed, just motherboard/processor/RAM/videocard and see whether it boots or not. Then add in more hardware until you find the culprit.

Try removing and putting the components back in (if they are not seated properly). Check that the cpu heatsink is not loose/mounted correctly (as it can lead to the computer powering off due to high temperaturs if the surface is not flat against the cpu). You can also try starting with as few components as possible, remove optical drives and such. Since you have a z68 mobo you could try starting without the gpu using the internal graphic on your cpu. Try with only one stick of memory at a time and try each slot if the first one doesn't work. If you have spare parts laying around you could try changing the components to see if you can identify what works and doesn't work. Also did you use the standoff screws for your mobo?

The problem still persist even though i only left the motherboard connected to the psu while taking off the all other parts. I am using the mount screws for my motherboard. Does the problem lie in the psu itself?
