If its the cheaper kind you should be able to wiggle the cover until the metal connections at the ends snap off. Ok sweet, i just checked and your right, its the break-off ones. i bent it and it popped right out, now i dont have to freak out quite as much. cost a bit but now my hp runs sc2 on ultra <3 thx a bunch guys, very quick responses :3

So the card has a fan on the top of it but when i check on speedfan its been at 0rpm, does it only turn on when it reaches a certain temperature or is something wrong?

It's definitely not at 0rpm, so it's probably not being picked up by speedfan.

If your temperatures are hot (80C+ during gaming / load) and the fan really isn't spinning (verify with visual inspection) than you need to return it for a new one.

Better to check with MSI Afterburner ( http://event.msi.com/vga/afterburner/download.htm ) If your temperatures are hot (80C+ during gaming / load) and the fan really isn't spinning (verify with visual inspection) than you need to return it for a new one. k i opened it and its spinning, all of the fans are idk why it said one wasnt, thx though
