So does anyone else have a problem with spotify and starcraft, every time I have spotify and sc on, after the first song my in-game sounds mute and music stops. When I check spotify, it says something about a problem with my soundcard.

Am I the only one? If not how could I fix it?

i play SC2 and use spotify just fine, maybe try running spotify as an administrator or something.

that usually solves obscure problems.

I've had some problems with spotify stopping when running full screen programs, although I've never tried using spotify while playing sc2. Maybe try running the game in windows mode?

Ive gotten this problem too. It happens very rarely and Ive been playing like 14 days without problems but at random times all sound get muted and spotify sais that soundcard problem thing. No idea of why it happens or why it havent happend in a very long time now though

No problem running Sc2 and spotify on winxp.
Also, since when did Spotify get available in Kyrgyzstan?

Edit: Try updating your soundcard drivers, Windows and DirectX.

I allways use spotify while playing sc2. No problems. Only "issue" I have is that while watching replays I can't use mediakeys on the keyboard

Spotify works perfectly while using SC2 for me, reinstall your sound drivers and see if the problem persists.

This happened to me a while ago, i didnt know what caused it but i pressed CTRL + S to enable sound and it fixed

I have this problem with winamp spotify grooveshark youtube, etc when having starcraft or any game really open. no idea why.

Perhaps it's a setting within Spotify regarding how it treats audio output from other applications while it's outputting audio.

Does it happen with any other applications or just SC2?
