If you are comfortable with playing at 800 dpi, which you should be, I'd suggest the MiCo. the shape of it just feels a lot more natural, less edgy than the Abyssus. And the sensor has your classic 400-800-1600 dpi steps compared to the Abyssus' weird 450-1800-3500 choice.

I just bought the Logitech G9X, I recommend it to anyone who uses claw grip, it's really boss

Anyone here use Sensei Raw?? What surface type did you get??
|
I have a g9x I cant recommend it. The shell rattles and there is very little clearance on the mousefeet so it scratches the surface of cloth mousepads. Otherwise the shape and sensor are quite good.

Both me and my brother have the same rattle problem. It is less than ideal. A lot of people will use the mouse without the sheel. For me personally it makes the mouse a little too thin. On the positive side, the g9x has the best left mouse click ever.

I had a Sensei and a Sensei raw(rubberized) and used them both on a 9hd, Goliathus control, and Goliathus speed. As far as I could tell, it worked on those three surfaces without any jitter or acceleration problems and glided well. I preferred the raw because it's noticeably lighter, but the built in hardware acceleration is unavoidable no matter what surface you use the mouse on.

Which mouse did you use before the Sensei and how did the switch over to the Sensei feel (mouse cursor precision)?

Picked up a logitech G300 "gaming Mouse'. It appears one of the extra buttons on the mouse exists only to change the colour of the LEDs on the side of the mouse..... You have a choice of either red, green or blue. What the point of this function is i have no idea. edit : it appears you can set different mouse hotkeys with the different colour schemes.Nifty! but not much use to myself.

Looked up the G300. Do you like the ambidextrous form factor? Is it comfortable?

If you install the drivers you can even gain access to new colors such as pink!!!!!!!!

On the positive side, the g9x has the best left mouse click ever. That left click is so satisfying. I was recently using my G9X again with my laptop (I use a G1 with my desktop I use for games), and yeah, I was shocked how nice the buttons are to press. I didn't realize how good it was.
I never had issues with the shell rattling, but that is because I only used it with a shell for like a week before switching to no shell. I never had issues with the size but I like tiny mice since that is what I used for years when I played BF2 every day.

Yes it is comfortable, my logitech m500 broke last week (after only 7-8 months of service) and i found the m500 the most comfortable mouse i have used but G300 is also good.

Where can I get this mouse? I only seen this mouse sold in black and I want it in blue. In this picture MKP has it in blue. It's a logitech g9x. I've seen this mouse also in red. I forgot who was using it so I couldn't a picture of it. It was either MVP, Teaja, Jae Dong or Leenock using it.

Edit: The picture on the right is a bonus, because why the fuck not.

So i guess my MX518 is on its last legs, as it seems to be crashing a lot.
The g400 is the one thats basically the same mouse right?

Sorry for such a late response -_-. I used the Razer Abyssus at 6/11 3600 dpi for about 8 months prior to using the Sensei. When I first used the Sensei I noticed something was off about the mouse but couldn't put my finger on what it was, as I hadn't known about the acceleration problems the sensor had. It felt like no matter what sensitivity I played on that there was something making me less accurate than I was on the Abyssus. Couldn't click where I wanted on the mini map, sucked slightly more than I usually do at osu, first person shooter felt awkward etc.
I ended up giving the mouse to a friend of mine who was previously using some generic mouse and he says he doesn't feel anything weird when using it, so maybe I've just been spoiled by the sensor in the Abyssus. Not sure if its worth mentioning, but I purposely use "enhance pointer precision" with both mice but I did use the Sensei at an internship with a really buggy laptop that wouldn't let me turn on acceleration and it still felt funny.

Has anyone has experience with the Kinzu? If so how does it compare vs the Kana and Sensei. I know that the Kinzu is the smallest out of all three of them.

The Kinzu v1 (gray) has the crappiest sensor I've ever experienced, the new Kinzu v2 has the same sensor as the Kana from what I know. But the shape of the Kinzu gave me cramps when I used it. I'd definitely recommend the Sensei or the Kana over the Kinzu.

I personallyu prefer the Kana. My experience with the Kinzu is a delayd registration on the mouse. So, when I box something really fast, it will only start boxing around a cm after a normal mouse would start its box. It is really weird and frustrating for me personal. I have heard a few other people that have the same problem, but not everybody. It may be a manufactoring error that isnt on every Kinzu. (ps, I expect that yuou mean the v2 pro).
The Kana on the other hand works beautifully after they fixed some initial problems. I would highly recommend it. Beware that it is not around the 115 milimeter (this is around the size you would see most claw grip mouse, and most people will naturaly you a claw grip in games where you have a mouse in a window, like rts/moba). But the Kana isnt as large as a Sensei either. The sensei is scewed pretty heavily towards palm grip imo. Lastly, after I have said this all I would want to ad that size doesnt seem to be the biggest concern with a rts, loads of players use deathadders, and loads of players use coverless g9x as well.

Hey, I'm looking for a mouse that is cheap-ish, ambidextrous for my claw gripping, and quite minimal, with only 3 or 5 buttons, I'm planning on using my hard mousepad, so something that'll run smooth on it would be nice. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance. :D
