Here is my problem. I would definitely get the 2013 version, because or higher dpi and 4g lazer, but 1. I don't like the rubber grips on the 2013, I'm a smooth sorta guy and 2. my entire gaming rig is red. So my case has red LEDS, and so does my keyboard, so if I got the 2013 edition, it would have green LEDS, which would clash I'm a little bit OCD with colors :D So I found this version of the original Deathadder http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/Original-Deathadder-Cross-Fire-Red-Edition-Gaming-mouse-Fast-Free-shipping-in-stock/803343_868940256.html. It is a red LED version of it made for the game Cross Fire (which I had never heard of, nor do I care that it says CF on the mouse) but I was wondering if there was that much difference between this version and the 2013 version. The CF version is just like the original Deathadder, with a 3.5g lazer and 3500 DPI. So mainly I was wondering if I would REALLY notice that much of a difference between 3500 and 6400 DPI? I will mainly use it for sc2, but I will definitely play other games with it (Battlefield 4 :D). The CF version is also quite a bit cheaper, and I'm on a 16 year old budget Does anybody still have the original Deathadder that can give me feedback on the original vs the 2013?Again I don't really like the grips on the side (I have tried them and I feel they are too sticky) and the color is sorta important But I can turn off the leds on the 2013 version if I absolutely have to. Thanks a bunch <3 and sorry that it is a very long question Nope. Nope for what xD the only real question if you would notice the difference between the sensor xD
Ahh I see what do you think? would it make that much of a difference?

Right now, I'm using a new MX518 which will be moved to another machine (which is in need of a mouse) when I buy a new one. I previously used a G5 (broke), then a G500 (for RMA but is taking very very very long) and find the MX518's shape too small. The shell of the G500 seems slightly larger and it seems to reduce my hand fatigue. I've noticed that with the 518, I start experiencing pain after playing where with the G500, I didn't. I'm looking at a Deathadder 2013 which overall seems like a decent palmgrip mouse, but I don't know if this is a decent mouse for Dota2, especially that I see many pro gamers binding inventory items to their mice. There doesn't seem to be a Dota2 progamer gear thread. Has anyone seen what mice do pro Dota2 players use with regards to the mouse bindings? Thanks! I recommend the deathadder and I dislike razer products. Thanks. Any other mouse I should be considering? Support says I have a G500s coming in the mail, but they've already dallied for 3 months so I'm not hopeful if I'll get it before 2014. I have access to a small subset of the Roccat and SteelSeries line but no Mionix/Zowies around here so more specialized brands are out. zowie ec1/ec2 evo are decent choices, probably the best optical sensor, is available in two sizes (ec1 is like DA, ec2 a little smaller) and black rubber surface or glossy white.
I guess that since there aren't any local Zowie stuff here, then that's probably another vote for the DA.
I might miss my G500 mouse buttons though.

I need a new mouse for bw. Fingertip grip. Looking to get a basic light 800 - 1000 dpi mouse, so it´s probably gonna be a Microsoft Basic Optical Mouse or the Logitech B100 / B110. Both will probably be just fine, but I´d like to get the one with the best tracking and the lightest click.
Edit: It seems several of the cheaper Logitech mouse has some kind of hardware acceleration that can´t be disabled. Would be great to know if the B110 was one of them.
Edit 2: I just bought a Logitech RX 250, because it was locally available in the store. Everything about it was great, except it has very bad acceleration even when turned off completely in the SetPoint software. I´m going to return it.
Does anyone know if the basic Microsoft mice has acceleration?
Edit 3: Bought a Razer Abyssus. Nice sensor, but it is way too hard to click! Argh ;P

1. What's your grip style? Fingertip, to the grave.
2. What's your sensitivity? 1500+ is enough.
3. What's your maximum budget? 50$
4. Do you want additional buttons? 2 on the left rear side. +1 on the right rear side will be Godly.
5. What games do you play? Nothing hardcore besides Starctaft. Mainly RPG games.
6. Do you mind angle snapping? No.
7. Other relevant information: As small as possible since my hands are small and I use fingertip style grip. Wireless is nice, I don't mind small lags. Basically I want a Razer Orochi that is CHEAPER THAN OROCHI
Thanks in advance !!!

A replacement for my 4year old Razer Deathadder 3.5G? I was looking into Zowie EC2 Black. Any thoughts?

Very good mouse, just remember to get the eVo version. The sensor on that is pretty much the best you can get.

Has the Razer Spectre (more accurately the Philips Twine-Eye Sensor) lift-off z-axis issue been fixed yet?

Looks like it's gonna be overpriced like hell with all the gimmicks. Too long and quite heavy imo, but that's just me.

There are no side buttons though but since you mostly play Starcraft I don't think it will be a problem.

Hello everyone
I am looking for a new mouse to play fps games. I think the Zowie Mico does not perform well for doing quick flicks of my wrist when playing CS:GO Deathmatch. I would love to hear someones opinion on this. It feels that the sensitivity is inconsistent. (eg. it changes a tiny bit from time to time)
Do you have any good suggestions in general? The most important thing is the mouse sensor. I don't care one bit about looks. Shape can also vary a lot.
When I was young I played professional cs 1.6. I used the MS Intellimouse 3.0. I had no knowledge of its sensor back then. I just got it because everyone else got it and that it performed well enough to keep having it. I played high sensitivity back then. Now I play with everything. Since I am not good. I havent found out what sens I like. My reflexes are very bad compared to that time. Now it is just for fun scrims and CS:GO Deathmatch.
Resolution: 1024x576
NB: Liftoff distance is also important.
Mice that I have had looked at:
Deathadder CM Storm Spawn Intellimouse 3.0 (new black)
Would love to hear some well thought opinions. I will not take your comment seriously if you only write the name of a mouse. Please say some words on why. "Good, best, awesome" are words I am not satisfied with.

zowie am/fk (feel free to not take my comment seriously). nevermind: zowie am/fk/ec1/ec2 evo all have probably the best optical sensor with the least lift off distance available. they all come with a hardware dpi switch located at the bottom (400/1150/2300) and have no special driver software etc. so with those four mouses you basically just chose the right shape and you're set. symmetric \/ or /\ (fk or am) shape or more of a ergonomic shape (ec1 evo or ec2 evo if you like it a bit smaller).
deathadder is decent as well, but i would pick a zowie over it any day.

Thanks Reason for picking zowie over deathadder?
