If you like the shape of the g9 then you'll probably like the cm storm spawn. Very similar mouse, very similar high quality sensor.

The razer abyssus seems perfect but for some reason it doesn't have a 800 dpi option. I've also tried out the g9x but its a bit too narrow without the shell and I don't like to use the shell. Currently using a deathadder but I prefer mice that are smaller like the salmosa or abyssus. If anyone can recommend me something good I would appreciate it. I think you can install the Razer drivers (not synapse but the old one). Then set the mouse dpi to 1800 from the bottom and set the drivers sensitivity to 4,5. That way you get 810 dpi. The drivers "sensitivity" is actually a multiplier for the dpi, 5 is 0.5, 4,5 is 0.45 and so on.

Well there's some excitement in trying out a new fancy mouse. I'm curious to see if there's any mouse that I would like even better than the G9. I might wait until Dreamhack Summer to try out all the mice there.

Especially interesting to me is the G100s with the classic ambidextrous shape and size and 4 buttons (one extra central button). It's gonna have an optical sensor and if it turns out to be flawless this is definitely gonna be my mouse for a long time. I love it. They're gonna sell the new G100s worldwide, unlike G100 which was Asia only I think. ![]() http://www.logitech.com/en-us/microsites/gaming-science

Maybe that's wrong I have an Abyssus and I love it. It is not compatible with the Synapse driver, but it has its own old drivers that work fine. I have it set to 3500 DPI and then I adjusted the sensitivity down to a comfortable level with the drivers. You can't disable the annoying blue LED in the back, but I just opened up the mouse and pulled out the connection so it doesn't turn on anymore. I was a bit intimidated to do that to my brand new mouse, but there are lots of guides on the internet and it was pretty easy. As long as you don't need side buttons, it's perfect for fingertip grip and my favorite mouse I've ever owned out of the following: Logitech mx518, mx1000, G400, G500, G700 (I guess I was a logitech fanboy for a long time!). I really enjoy the light weight. I'm looking for a mouse with side buttons now, but they're all a lot heavier ![]()
