#1) No matter how fast you think you can pee, you're not fast enough to consider leaving your laptop on a desk unattended as safe #2) In lieu of my magic-walking laptop, I need a new one. Budget is around 900$ - 1000$, but I feel as though I can get what I want for a bit less (maybe I'm kidding myself) #3) If people can toss me their opinions on tiny netbooks, and maybe point me to some under 200$ that would be great. Since I'm moving out of res next term I'm considering building a ~650-700$ i3 desktop and getting a little netbook for class - Something that can play sc2 1v1 on medium (in terms of CPU) very smooth - I don't really need a quadcore, a nice i5 would probably be okay - 7200 RPM harddrive is very important - I don't give much of a shit about battery life (putting pretty much any laptop into power saver is fine for class) - I'd prefer something over 1366x764 for resolution - 15.6" <--> 17.3" is fine, I've had a 17.3" for years and I'm fine with it - I play other games than sc2, I was previously on a gt555m, and was pretty content with it's performance, so that would be fine in terms of power, even a bit less would be fine - I'm in ontario, so something that can ship there, relativly quickly (I don't have a laptop atm, so anything past 2 weeks is kind of not do-able) tytyty EDIT: I've been looking at sagers, and other non-mainstream companies (not: lenovo/hp/dell etc.) and they seem to be pretty legit deals. I don't really know many of these less popular brands, so if anyone knows good ones, link their websites pleeeeeeeease | ||
