Well, it appears I was wrong... You can find the GTX 560 Ti 448 on directcanada.com for $300... That's definitely cheaper than any GTX 570. Maybe Nvidia does know what it's doing =P
Although I wonder if the availability issue will drive the prices up, since it is a limited edition card... Directcanada only has 1 560-448 card in stock right now, and I don't mean only 1 brand... I literally mean one (1) card.

Is this case decent for an under 50$ case? Just looking at reviews and a brief glance over seems like it has all that I need, but I'd like to double check.

It's my friends computer, and he still needs the graphics card as well, so I could probably convince him to buy both of them at the same time. He misplaced a few of the parts in my opinion (Spent more on his CPU than GPU etc.) so I'm trying to help squeeze what he has left out efficiently, but y'all know much more than me ^^

Intel has been stepping into anti-trust problems since the 80's.
Intel Fortran compiler intentionally takes terrible code paths when in the presence of am AMD processor. Even AMD's own Core Math Kernel functions better when the CPUID is changed to genuineIntel!
And lets be serious, Fortran is the only compiler out there. Intel and AMD are just way too entangled for AMD to come out ahead. And why not? AMD has been riding Intel's coattails as well. Neither of these two are without blame, and the consumer pays for it. If we had true fair play between these two we would probably in a totally new technological renaissance by now.

Why not? If AMD can't compete with Intel, do you honestly think they have a chance at competing against Nvidia, Apple, Samsung, Qualcomm, and all the other manufacturers? I fear for their survival.

AMD can't compete with Intel because the current technological paradigm relies on Intel to even enter the competition (Fortran Compiler). So yes I think they can if the playing field was more level than it is right now.
At the moment any competitor serious enough to threaten Intel will just be crippled by poor compilation until a new one that is better than Intel's is invented.
ATI/AMD should be competitive with nVidia for awhile. Comparing Apple to AMD is unfair because no one knows what Apple is going to be like without Jobs at the helm.
As for Samsung and Qualcomm, I think direct competition is suicide.

Don't take a genius to know that Apple is fine without Jobs. Tim Cook or Jonny Ive are more important to Apple than Steve Jobs is considering Tim Cook is like the reason why ultrabooks and tablets can't compete with Apple in an all out price war and Jonny Ive is the main designer of Apple's products.
Steve Jobs' existence was to make sure Apple didn't do anything retarded like 90's Apple, 2000's Sony, or Samsung often like to do. Since his life's work was to build a corporate culture to prevent that from happening, I don't see Apple going anywhere. If anything, because all other technology companies are so awful and operate through the Dell model they're going to keep growing.

They're not making their own RAM. Its rebranded Patriot stuff. I think the idea is that they're going to pack high speed memory with their APUs: picking 1600mhz memory instead of the typical 1333mhz memory can improve Llano performance by like 10-20%.

Get the cheapest memory possible. Unless you really want to support Idra, there's no reason to spend so much some ricer gamer gear.
You can't overclock so just get something like this Asrock H61 motherboard.
Are you sure NZ doesn't have another retailer? The power supply options are...really bad. The Corsair CX500 is an OK choice (you don't need 650W) but I'm surprised there aren't any Antec PSUs in stock.
